    AO-WI: Paintball Sam's Big Game II Oct. 2 - 3

    Big Game
    Fall is just around the corner and what else could that mean other than, BIG GAME II! That's right, Paint Ball Sam's Fall Big Game is heading our way and, as always, promises to be the best event to end the summer with. For those of you who missed it, our Spring Game saw nearly 900 players out to welcome in the new season. If you didn't get a chance to play in the spring event, here is your chance to catch the last big event of the calendar year!

    Due to the lines in spring we decided we needed to make some changes to get things moving better. We took note that our compressor couldn't keep up with the over 600 players that showed up on Saturday so we made sure that this would not be a problem in fall. Our Fall Big Game will feature National Paintball Supplies Air Trailer! Now you can rest assured that not only will the lines be next to nothing but you will get 4500 psi every single time! Nikki told you all she would take care of the air fill problem and she sure came through as promised. This is the same air trailer that was featured at our AGD Pride 5 Man tournament earlier in the year. I think you will all like the new set up.

    Another change this year will be the addition of all day air passes. In the past you had to pay each and every time you filled up your tank with compressed air. This caused longer lines and the need for you to always worry about carrying money with you. Well, that is now a thing of the past as well. This year, for the price of ten dollars, you will be able to purchase an all day air pass. This pass is good for one compressed air tank and entitles you to unlimited air fills for the day. Additional passes must be purchased if you have more than one compressed air tank. In the morning when you by your pass your tank will be inspected for safety. Once it has been verified that the tank is still in date and serviceable you will be allowed to buy the pass. This means no more having to show your expiration date every time you want your tank filled! All Co2 fills will be conducted the same as always.

    For those of you who are not familiar with our Big Games, there are a few things you need to know. This is a free event, so no field fees. Rentals are available but I would call early as we sell out quickly. You can either order paint for the event in advance to save yourself some money or you can purchase paint at the field at an increased fee. Deadlines for preordering paint and equipment is...........

    All players over the age of 14 are welcome. For those under the age of 18 here is some info you need to know before you come to the big game.

    We will have a special table set up to check in 14 thru 17 year olds. All 14 thru 17 years olds must go to this table before going to the registration table, whether you have played here before or not. Don't forget you need to sign a waiver and have your ID with you. If you have never been at our field you will need the following items. Our consent form & medical consent form signed by a parent and notarized. A waiver that you sign upon arrival. (Waivers will be on a table in the staging area) A picture ID, which can be a drivers license or school ID. If you are coming with your parent or a legal guardian, (with a letter of legal guardianship) they can sign the parental consent form in front of our staff person at the check in table. Everyone needs a picture ID with them.

    If you need a Parental Consent Form we can mail one to you or you can download the forms off our website. Don't forget they must be notarized if your parent is not coming to the field with you.

    Mark the date on your calendar now and plan to take part in Wisconsin's oldest paintball tradition! Paint Ball Sam's Big Games are always the event of the season so don't miss out!

                  So.... Is the May 2005 game going to have the same setup? $10 air and an air source capable of "keeping up"?

                  I'll probably fly in this next time (May 2005), fly to Boise, then Amtrak back to Austin.

                  Is that a ditch behind me?

                  I'm old... I'm slow...
                  And I can't see very well...
                  Is this gun I borrowed any good?

                  {heh heh heh}

                              Damn, missing another!!

                              I thought moving closer (St. Louis vs. Baltimore) would get me to more of these games again. The weekend of the 2nd & 3rd is my pheasant hunting trip to S. Dak. Anyone know the dates of the May game so I can get it on my calendar now?
