AO-CANADA in the works....

Hey there faithfull AO-Fanatics!

I am currently in the process of planning AO-Canada for October '05. Why so far away, you ask? Well to plan an event can take some time and I want to make sure that there is more than enough time to plan, organize and iron out details well before the event even takes place. If you're interested, albeit a long ways off, post your interest, and what you would like to see as far as the event goes.


FYI I have the location picked out already,(don't ask, I'm not telling) The preliminary info is that it will be a 2 day event, with the actual AO-day being held on Sat, and a local big game for those who wish to stay and join in. There is a hotel very close by for the out of towners, and I EXPECT all my American pals to come up and join us for a "Great White North AO DAY EH?"

EDIT - I forgot, for those who really care... there will be BEER!!!!

I'll be up for it. Will have to find a way from Montreal to whereever it is, but I'll manage (grad school requires sacrifices, I'll miss my car...). Will keep an eye out.

Hmm, with this much advanced notice, I might try and save some money to be able to go to this and make it an awesome trip... but I doubt all you AO foagies () would want an 18/19 year old tagging along. *shrugs*

I would think it would be a good idea to plan it during skyball. In Toronto, popular city, with a massive paintball event going on, lotta other paintballers to hitch a ride with, Good fields, etc.

Tried that, didn't quite work. Too much other stuff going on, and people just come in for the days of skyball, and then leave. This is just a weekend thing.

BTC, Legal drinking age is 19 in Canada, just FYI
