AO Greeks UNITE!

Geia! Just looking to see how how many Greeks there are on AO. This could be a good place for us to meet and talk about paintball and maybe what part of Greece your family is from.

My name is James but my Greek buddies can call me Dimitri. My family is from Sparta. Durring the 1820's, my family (Mavromichalaes) led and fought in the Greek war for independance against Turks. My yiayia and papou's mom and dad came to America in the early 1900's.

Here's a picture of me dressed up for twin day for school. My Greek buddy Nick was my twin and we won the contest...

    ELLAS for life!

Tom Kaye's Greek, if I'm not mistaken. Happy little coincidence.

My papou has several farms in southern Sparta. My yiayia & her brothers came here and are pretty much either in Chicago or the Baltimore area. I knew there had to be more of us on AO!

I'm Greek too. My family is from Thessaloniki and several small villages in northern Macedonia. Most of my family in the US are in Hampton Beach, NH or Detroit, MI and then a few in Los Angeles common. The rest are back in the old country.
