Hey, if you got a scuba tank bring it, just in case. Glad to hear that you should be able to make it, hope to see you there.

Ok, we're going to go grab some paint for this weekend pretty soon, and we only have requests for something like 5 cases. If ANYONE needs paint, or knows of anyone that needs paint, email us at [email protected] and let us know.

I was planning on it, is it out at Brad's field? Anyhoo, Breakout should be there again with paint, hopefully.Originally posted by Z-manYou all realize you are coming to the 2005 NorCal vs. SoCal now. Being 30 min away you will have NO excuse to to be there. Hey Ryan!

We should actually plan on putting these games together at least once a month, I know tons of people in the area who are not willing to pay for paint and admission at breakout but still want to play, we might try putting up flyers at big boys and camp and pack, I hear they get ALOT of people in there asking about places to play.
If anybody has a cronograph that would be awesome, im working on the comp air fill station right now, ive got 2 SCBA but no line adapter, ill bring one on sunday just in case.Comment

Waffle, I'm trying, I'm really trying. This is the first of hopefully a long series of regular games. I'm working on starting a club here at poly, which would hopefully get the word out, but most of the people I usually play w/ don't like paying entrance fees, etc. Anyhoo, tell anyone you know who'd be interested. For this game I just tried to find people online, which has worked out surprisingly well. I want to have a game early december, for which I probably will put up fliers, etc.Comment

We have a red chrono, but the battery wires are broken... we'll take it apart and see if we can re-solder something. Maybe we could sell it to you or something.Comment

Now, I don't want to turn this into a crapfest, but Sarah and I both think that this is a crappy thing to say.Originally posted by WafflemanI know tons of people in the area who are not willing to pay for paint and admission at breakout ...big boys and camp and pack, I hear they get ALOT of people in there asking about places to play.
So, Breakout is willing to bring paint TO YOU, and as the only paintball store on the Central Coast (No, I do not count Big Boys as a store) they've fought tooth and nail to open a good, reputable, insured, safe feild...and you're not willing to patronize it for some reason. Entru iis only $15, and (good) paint can be had for under $50. I'm sure you've spent much, much more on a day of paintball under worse conditions.
We both just think it's odd that you're all for supporting the sport, but won't support your only local shop and feild.
We're bringing paint tomorrow; If you guys don't want to do buisness with Breakout, that's fine, but know your money to Big Boys could be going to a reputable store, with an excellent owner, and an interest in the sport, not the profit.

No, actually, it's not. Matt (owner of Big Boys) got greedy, and didn't want to pay the insurance. IIRC, he was told that he had to do various things in order to keep the feild open, and he just said screw it. Yeah, I want my business going to him. Obviously, he didn't care enough about the sport to keep his field open. But hey, now we don't have to worry about that anymore.Originally posted by TheSharkHeh I used to work for Big Boys in Santa Margarita Lake at the KOA campground. I used to live in SLO... went to Cuesta for 3 years. Is that park still goin? GREAT park, but you're right about the owner he's a greedy SOB, lol!
