Okay, right now the best way to travel through the border crossings is a passport, but it isn't mandatory till 2006. For now they will accept 2 pieces of ID. For the US peeps its not too bad going back cause, well, you are american... but for us frostbacks, we need to answer 500 questions and provide several urine samples to get into the US

So, basically, 2 pieces of ID will do for now, but you should have time to get yourself a passport, and take care of it properly.

And you had the truck searched once. Damn yellow slips!

Wyn is proof that you should bring two forms of ID. Drivers License and raised seal birth certificate (not a photo copy) will get you across with very little problem.

Odd thing is, when I went up to Niagara Falls last fall I got yellow slipped, but the customs person just took it and never even looked at my car. I had my Passport and the person I was with had her birth cert and license, so I guess the yellow slips are pretty random.

Not sure if I'll be able to make this one, what with school and all. If I can, I'd love to get together a WNY caravan. Nothing like an approaching small army to really pique the interest of the border guards.

Also, anyone thinking of going to the "Big Game" at NTAG on May 29th? A few of us Buffalonians have been thinking about making the trip. Just wondering if anyone else had similar plans.

I went down there today to find out about the rooms and a possible group rate, but I missed the manager by 5 minutes. I have to call her Monday to see whats up.
