"Farewell to Steelrat" AO Day Planning

As the thread title states, this is where we will plan the AO Day in honor of Steelrat moving away to the East Coast.

I have spoken to Steelrat and suggested 2 things:

1- Steelrat needs to come up with a date that will work for him.

Definately extreme, they do us right every time. Should have a date in the next day or two. Thanks again guys

2- Now that Steelrat has picked a location, we can put our heads together to plot and scheme. One thing I will be doing is bringing the video camera for certain.

I suspect this will be a larger than average AO Day as evidenced by the return of such dear friends as Mighty Mike whom I feared MIA.

Sounds cool. Too bad it's gonna happen so far to the north and #2 I'm markerless. If by some chance I can/could make it & bring some SoCal peeps with me, I'll let you guys know.

Yeah, lack of marker is never a problem with us. I'll have at least 2 guns available.

As for dates, Im thinking maybe the 22-23rd might be good. What say you all? Not a definate, im still trying to firm things up. The folks in NY want me out there ASAP, so I have 60 days to show up for work there, including a 10 day trip to find a house and 10 days driving time to get out there. Also factor in having the movers come out (they pack, whee!), and you can see the time issues. I wouldnt miss this for the world though.

RoadDawg - LPB and Ryan are correct. Just come up here and you'll get hooked up. I will be bringing 3 guns myself. Don't forget to bring your famous avocados.

Thanks for the kind words Zak. I've never left....just bad timing in the past few months. Thankfully, at my request, Blenn has kept me updated w/ post reports on the ao days i've missed. I definitely won't miss this day.

I haven't played either as of yet but from the pics I saw of VT it looks nice. So I am up for anywhere really depending on how far... lol

I think I can speak for the core NorCal crew when I say Extreme is a great field, they always treat us awesomely and most of the NorCal guys seem to regard it as their favorite.

MM- The avocado's are starting to fall and if I can I'll bring some. On top of that I might have some great tasting oranges.
