My only concern is paint prices. In the past we've had a deal on paint (usually because it was bought in bulk or from a distributer).

Anybody have connections?

I mean I don't mind spending $ on paint and all, but justifying $$$ with a wedding to plan is tough to convince the Mrs. on.;)

Entry is $20 with your own equip, and $10 for an airpass. If theres a deal to be found, it'd be on admission. But I don't mind payin $30 for BYOP.

Coolness. I havent been there since it changed to Rukus, so I wasnt sure of the pricing. BUT you cant argue with those.


The only thing that Im a little concerned about, is the availability of nearby facilities. (hotels, resuraunts, ect). I know that this is also a campground, but im am not too familiar with the area.

It's not really near ANYTHING if I remember correctly... Been 2 years since I've been there...

Hell, Skirmish USA has more near it. ;)

There isn't much nearby at all, but it didn't really hurt us last time.

The campground (which is part of the same facility as the field) has 8-bunk cabins for $20 a night or something like that. As for food, we usually get a bunch of burgers and dogs and whatnot out there, so that wouldn't be much of an issue.

If people insist on a hotel, hotels can be found, just not all that closeby. But the bunks arne't bad, and there are showers nearby. Plus theres a big firepit, we could have a bonfire or something.

nothing like burgers cooked over an open flame, with beers by a firepit during the summer.

Maybe it would be best if we could get the Rukus guys to handle the BBQ. I know they serve burgers and death-dogs out there. Im sure we could get a 'package price' or something.

And then of course later on, we could break out our own food.

Theres a pizza place up the street from ruckus.
I believe theres also one in the camp ground itself.

As for hotels, There are some on RT. 23.
