I played tons of hold em this past weekend in LA, and I was thinking; why not have a local poker night?

I'm willing to host, I'm just seeing if there is any interest in the idea.

cabldawg: you know I'm clueless. I'm thinking fairly low-key, not take anyone's rent kind of game. I don't know, does 25ish sound good? Don't really know, cause in my experience people drop early, and want to get back in.

We could set up seperate games if you've got your card-shark hat on...

No real planned date yet, but open for suggestions.

Back from the Dead!

Hey gang,

Sorry for dropping off the face of the planet for a while there. Its been hectic with my new job and everything...

Still sounds like we can make this work. Open to suggestion; but I have some basic ideas.

$20 buy-in. Increments of 0.25, 0.50, and $1. First hour, limit is $5. Second, limit up to $10.

Planning on just playing hold-em, for simplicity's sake, but we can play some others as well. I have one round table about 2 1/2 wide, but additional tables and seating would help a lot.

Cable, feel free to chime in if I done screwed up somewheres.

This weekend is out, as well, I'm gettin' drunk. I'd kinda like the next off as well (Feb 26) but we could make it work. All in all, I think shooting for Mar 5 or Mar 12.
