i'm going to kauai this summer. are there any reasonable fields there? prices? if i brought my pump gun, would i be the only pumper?

woud i have to dismantle my gear to fly there with it?

I went to Kauai in march, mainly near the lihue airport and 20 miles in each direction - WAIT that is kauai ... I don't think I'll be going for another while though, so I'll just complement you on your amazing weather, and lush mountains...

The main thing is that you completely drain your CO2 or Air tanks prior to flight. So if you pump and use 12grams, you probably can't bring those... but I'm not the authority to say for sure.

Also, you may not want to have anything that resembles a gun in your carry-on. I just put mine in my check-on baggage and tell the ticket agent that i have paintball gear and that the tanks are empty. There shouldn't be a problem, but they may want to check.

to be safe, i think i'll just completely dismantle it, and on my co2 tank i'll remove the burst disk if needed.

Hawaii it awsome. If your firmilar with the naval houseing in Peral City and the Mini Mart or NEX. We used to play back in the Goverment Property back behind there. Nobody really cared.
