First off, Jon tells me that many people have been calling/emailing him about RV parking overnight. He says unfortunately RV's may not stay at the field overnight BUT, there is a Walmart not 2 miles from the field. So that works out eh?

-Computer of some kind OK so this is not really a necessity but hey they have FREE T1 we can be super lazy and IM each other from our rooms, play games and mock the rest of AO who did not come LIVE!

Wanna-be...not a tac-One, it's a T1 line for internet connection (better than cable even).

Wal-Mart has a policy that allows over-nighters in their parking lots. If you don't want to drive your rig to the field, rides will be available.

The last turn into the field would prove highly dangerous for vehicles over 20' long, as it is REALLY close to loose dirt and a pond, and a minimal turn radius. I'm sure we can park you at the bottom of the hill though...short walk.

i swear to god that i had no idea it had to do with internet access. i know almost nothing about computers. i just know how to use the basic things on them.


how far of a walk is it from the bottom of the hill to the field? cuz i dont really want to leave all of my stuff laying around. i'd rather leave it in my RV; all my paint and markers and my camera, and stuff. i dont feel secure leaving it around where i cant watch it, or have it watched.

Well, okay it is, but cable companies are finally catching up. I'm at 6mbps down right now, and fiber has surpassed T1 in terms of speed.

My room situation is resolved. Yay! Still no devilmag, but GA got caught up with Madness, I guess. Would have loved to show it off for him, but nothing I can do.

I'm planning on leaving Friday morning, hoping to arrive midday. I'd like to catch up with everyone; are we planning on checking the field? Just chilling in the hotel?

Hehe, happy is talking about camping there, meaning pitch a tent and start a bonfire camping, since we're already trying to cut as many costs as possible

no. i dont think you can pitch a tent in the parking lot. they do allow RVs though. maybe you could squeeze yourself among a few cooropritive (i cant spell) RV owners and hide your tent there. i just wouldn't make a campfire, that might give away your hideing spot.

I'm glad I checked my gear.

I tried to power up my HALO, dead batteries. I replaced them, and bought a bunch more just in case.
I tried to open the lid and it came off in my hand. I'm REALLY glad I had a spare lid or I'd be forced to duct tape the lid on.
Checked the guns and all are cycling as they are supposed to.
I'll top off the charge on the Emag battery on the ride down.
