Holy smokes, I'm un-banned!!! Almost got sucked in to PBN permanently.
I'll be at the day you call "One of AO festivities: north vs south"
And be warned... I might bring my A game to this beast... and a lady friend that I want to show what this game is all about.

Just Registered
I just registered, can't wait to go. This will be only my second AO Days event, had a great time the first time. I have family at nearby Lake Nacimeinto, I will be staying there.
Just 20 minutes down the hill to Paso.

Yep thank you. You are added.Originally posted by LoguzzzzzzZ-man, Sent payment and email already, add me and guest to the list......
Now on a side note I wanted to talk about the event a little more. In particular I wanted to discuss the photography at the event. Last year lots of things were done, last minute and as I was able to get them done. I would very much like to be able to offer a CD of all (or most) of the photos taken at the event to everyone for a minimal charge. But when I think about it, I HAVE to have legal rights to the pictures to do that. I don't really want that but if I am going to make CD's for people I HAVE to. So that is what that (soon to be) waiver on my site is for. Essentially it's going to say, I give Zak Vetter all legal rights to the pictures I am sending him so he can send them off for a magazine article (if that happens) and so he can put them on his website and so he can offer CD's of the event.
If you want to keep your photos, that is fine, just don't sign the waiver. The nice thing about this year is that all of us at the hotel have T1 so we can post and update live as we want. Anyhow, I wanted to elaborate on that.
Any better ideas about how to go about this or does this seem like the way it has to go?Comment

Wait, is that T1 FREE? If yes, I'm bringing my desktop. LAN party anyone? Bwahaha.

My thoughts exactly. Ill be stuck playing Wow most likely but If any of you PC cowards want to play me at MY favorite 1st person shooter, BRING IT. I liked this game so much I bought the PC and Mac versions so that I could play it with anyone.Originally posted by Big WeaponsWait, is that T1 FREE? If yes, I'm bringing my desktop. Descent 3!
The multiplayer is great (but the hard part is learning the controles since there are like 12 movement buttons....) Anyone think they got skills?Comment

No ones going to have time for a LAN party. We'll be busy shooting the breeze, drooling over each others new guns, and putting faces to the screen names. Of course since the recroom has a screen, I'm sure someone could bring a console of some type so there can be some gaming going on. Besides, I don't know what my laptop will run...
On the photography note, I think something we missed last time was a huge group shot with everyone who attended. Best bet to pull that off would probably right after the standard safety speech, since everyone will be gathered around anyway.

Forget the LAN party. The hotel has a projector and a screen. I can probably scam another projector, and we can scrounge up another screen. Im thinking Halo2 and Greg Hastings paintball. Anyone up for that?
And yes, Pumaman too...Comment
