AO NE 7 - Field Suggestions

Chris wont turn any game or the chance to have a group come and play and he was excited about AO comming when i talked to him about it... he just wants to know for sure, i am not going to get his hopes up and have some one pull the run out from under us and say "Na, we are going _____ instead, sorry"

there is room for say 15 of to camp there or more and there is a camp ground right up the road that we can get reservations to. the camground has all the services, ie: showers, electric, water, ect. and the casinos are close by for a after game party for the players of all ages...

Strategy looks like fun to me. If we can get the paint prices down a wee bit it would be even better. I don't particularly care about BYOP as long as we don't get butt raped on paint prices. Can we get links to the fields in Maine? Me thinks we should gather links and get a poll started. I liked the way Joey did that las AONE with prereg discounted slightly. We should really make some decisions soon.

www.roguepaintball.com is one of the maine fields. $15 field fee and byop (among very resonable pices there) decent fields and lots of space.

Birch hills site is down right now and being redesigned, but perhaps someone can get a digicam down there and get some field pics for us.

I have not cruised this forum in some time. Was shocked to see Tom had retired. But anyway, I saw Friendly Fire was considered as a choice for AO NE 7. This is a good field and it's BYOP. They have a very large woodsball field as well as a Speedball field. It's in the same town as Fox 4. Check out their website if you're interested. Since I'm so late to the party I hope I can stir up some interest in this locale.

In a New York Minute, let me know what you guys want for a story line!!!! Somthing funny, somthing scary?

I had a "LOST" Parody in mind at one point with us searching for a mad Tom Kaye head that rules this evil island where a plane carrying a huge group of AOer's crashed. they were on there way to a special AO trip and a fight broke out on the plane between two guys that wanted to be in charge of throwing the AO event. a piantball gu went off and shot the captain of the plane!!! ooops!

they crash seperated on two seperate parts of the island. after being there a while they finnally get a radio tranmission on a fixed radioand it says" 12,14,5,11,6,11,3 awe screw the numbers, you all aint getting off this fricken island untill you find me!!!! HAHAHAHAHAH!!! the voice is familiar to all the AOer's but they cant place it, yet!!! oooooooooo?

Hey if you guys want a Scenario game Come up with some ideas and we will put somthing together.

roles, missions, objectives, teams, the whole nine yards!

Lets break the mold here and do somthing that hasnt been done yet?

How about Race to Radar? You have two teams, each starting about 300 feet from each other. Their trails intertwine from time to time as they race towards Radar hill. As soon as one team gets to Radar, they must defend their position to win.

Heres another one: Two teams must find something on the field. Maybe a flag. It could be anywhere on the field. How do they find it? By solving a series of riddles. They are given one riddle to start with, and when they solve the riddle (the answer tells them where to go), theres a ref waiting at that location, waiting with the next riddle.

They would be fast games, we were looking for games that would last the whole 8 hours?

And if the refs were sitting at the clues, why read the clues, just run to the refs and look for a clue? And any good scenario game will have items that have to be captured and kept for points, regain for the duration of the game, and turned for final points at the end. Other items can be placed on the field, by the refs for more points. Losing the base flags, losing important items, losing commanders, all will cost points and decide the game.
