I played with a Sterling pump gun before ... what a nice peice of machinery. I came *this close* to buying one after that, and I always keep a lookout for one.

"Pump 'Cocker" ROTFL! Sorry, it just sounds weird when you say it that way. The 'Cocker is the mod and the Sniper is the original pump gun it was made from ... in fact, the early Autocockers came with a kit where you could convert it back to pump. The Sterling has nothing to do with the Autococker, apart from shooting paintballs and being a pump.

Just so this thread isn't totally hijacked ... you *do* know there was a kit produced to make an Automag into a pump don't you?

What exactly are the plans for the day? As far as I know there is only one "Automag" day. About how many people are playing so far? Personally, I don't particularly like speedball and I wouldn't want to spend a whole day playing. It would be nice if we had enough people to be able to play on all the different fields.

The speedball fields at Fox4 are pretty average, with gravel/dirt on the ground. Woodsball is really the highlight of Fox4.

Im just thinking how fun its gonna be... it should be all the maggers vs everyone else. How many people do we have going so far?

Edit: I just thought of something... Should we have some sort of identification so that you can tell who someone on AO is in person?

We've never needed identification before. A bunch of us know each other so we all start to group together and it grows from there. If you haven't been to an AO day before just look for the group of people who pretty much all seem to have Mags.

trust me, you'll know who the AO'ers are they will usually introduce themselves to you, and if you memory is like mine, several times.
