Specifically Western/Southwestern Pennsylvania players.

Where do you guys play, whats the popular type (speed, woods etc) so on and so on?

Am in SW PA, looking to get back in after 3 year hiatus.

I am from northwestern PA (Mercer County) and really only play at three of four places. 1st is Crazy Dave's on Route 19, phone number 724-530-6036. He has an indoor, speedball, and woods fields. Next is Encounter sports in Mercer. I do not know the tele #. Woods and speedball. Another is Three Rivers PB in Cranberry. Woods and speedball. Much like you I am just getting back after a six year hiatus. I know there are a couple of fields is Bridgeville, which I believe is much closer to Somerset county. Yeah, searched that, when that got exhausted, still looking. I used to play pirate fields for practice, but looks like I'll be looking for legit fields now. Was at three rivers area yesterday, caught the Pirates opener, beautiful day, UGLY game.

No, I don't have any real group and do mainly walk-on rec-ball. I am a little older (not by much) than most of the people I run into playing, and only play once every couple of months. I saw that you found the thread started by a guy looking to put together a tourney team for this weekend in my neck of the woods. I replied to it as well. I live a bit north of Pittsburgh, and haven't played since I moved here. I need to find a good regular field that's cheap but not too ghetto.

I live in Philly so I don't think I'll be making a trip Western PA anytime soon. However, if anyone goes to Skirmish I'd be willing to drive up there. I'll play tournaments or recball, it doesn't matter to me.
