SF Bay Area Pump Nights, A dedicated pump field in Burlingame

I've been playing a lot at the new indoor field in Burlingame/Millbrae - www.bapaintball.com

The head ref suggested a pump only field, open to all, one night a week. His promise was if enough pumpers showed interest, the field would organize a pump only leauge.

I got an email today from them reminding me that this is happening and asking me to let other pumpers know about it.

So the question is:

Are there any other SF Bay Area players who would be willing to play on a Thursday night at BApaintball?

Let me know as I'd love to line up and event.

i hate the prices though, is there some way that people from AO could get a discount on admission or paint?
i will not pay 70 bux for a case, but i will split up a case with 1-2 people.

if they charge less for paint and admission on thursday nights, i bet they would get more people to come, and encourage people to try playing pump.

I'm hoping we can get half off admission and 3c a ball, same as Wednesday nights. A pump only field and those prices would make it worth going.

All the guys I've been there with have been surprised - the games are so fast, you shoot less paint. There is no one sitting in a back bunker hosing as the fields encourage movement. Camping is a precursor to being bunkered.

They'll be having open play on the other field so even if you don't like pump, you can still play.

They will provide a field every Thu night if enough people show up.

However, based on the lack lustre turn out last Thu night, I'd suggest you bring a couple of friends with you :-)

If 2 people show up, 2 or 3 refs will go on the field to ref a 1 on 1 - that's a good field.

I heard there is some movie coming out this Thursday... I think they have like explosions and stuff in it.

problem is, my only friends that play paintball dont have pumps.
one does, but he is moving to san francisco soon.
i wouldn't mind playing against semi's i guess. as long as there are some other pumpers too.

am i a gun lover? i only have 3 guns. but i plan to sell one of them.

BTW, if we do set this up, I may need to drop equipment off with someone beforehand. Don't want to carry gear around on the train.

Anyone know how far this field is from the Airport bart station? The bay bridge can be a pain on week nights...
