The showers were like 50/100 feet from the cabins.

Flying into an airport other than Newark doesn't make much sense unless you didn't have a choice.

Since I live down the street, let me give some details for everyone..

The field is probably 45min to an hour from Newark airport, depending on traffic, it can be 1.5h.

The closest hotels will either be in Mahwah NJ on Rt 17 (there is a Comfort Inn, and the really nice/expensive Sheriton Crossroads down there). Or somewhere on Rt 23 (actually, I can't think of anywhere there that is really close on 23, but there are a few choices.. the closer to butler/etc the better.) The hotels on 17 will be about 30min away.

There is nothing to do in town. It's 80sq miles of water resoviors... well.. except paintball.. there are 4 fields within 10-15min of ruckus.

NYC is 1.5h away with no traffic.
Rockland county, and the big Palisades mall is 30min away give or take.

Food - pretty much 99 pizza joints, a MickyD's, a Blimpies, and a Subway... oh and that new Thai resutrant, that is take out only. There are bars as well..

Shopping - yeah - there isn't any.. so no WalMart/KMart anywere close.. everything is prety much going to be a 30min drive, so prepare for that. There are some convience stores around town, but nothing where big. There are 2 supermarkets.

For anything else, you'll be going down to bloomingdale (which is down the other way).

We should prolly call to make sure that they'll have them available. I doubt it'd be a problem but you never know.

We need 8 people for a cabin. I have to check with my friend to see how many brothers & friends he is bringing. I think he is bringing three of his brothers and a couple of their friends.

New questions (I think I have 16 more to go), Is there anything going on Friday night? If so around what time? How early are the games starting on Saturday??.. If I flew out early saturday morning would I be safe? Just trying to get all my apples in a bucket here, and make everyone happy (my guys band plays friday night, SHOULD try to be present to be a groupie).

Not sure if the whole flying thing is a good idea... well, not with paintball gear. If you are coming from Philly (?) it shouldn't take you more than 2 1/2 hrs. I would imagine that you will spend at least an hour waiting in the airport to board.

The games usually start around 9 at Ruckus, depending on the turnout and how awake the ref are by that time. I dont think it is possible to get there 'too early'

Not sure if the whole flying thing is a good idea... well, not with paintball gear. If you are coming from Philly (?) it shouldn't take you more than 2 1/2 hrs. I would imagine that you will spend at least an hour waiting in the airport to board.

Only pb gear I would be taking would be a mask.. lol I am just there to socilize maybe take some pics..(shh i don't actually own an automag).
I will be flying in from Pittsburgh, might have to stop by Philly on the way back depending on what the Doctor says (the main center I go to is in Philly@ University of Pennsylvania). But knowing where it is (and how long of a drive from Philly) helps me put things into perspective.

Forgive and had forgotten untill you brought it up His heart is really into his band, would be wrong of me as a girlfriend not to support him. Plus I HATE his fishing trips, so I have to be understanding and supportive in some fashion. Even if it is a bit of an inconvience.

nice..I want to come so bad...Ive never played at ruckus..only like 40 mins away..plus with all mag owners...i have a develish idea of trading my ff trix for some mag lowers... hmm E-TAC!
