AO Missouri/Southern Illinois Day! Nov 12th!!!!!!

Ok, after much cussin' and discussin', there WILL be an AO Missouri/Southern Illinois meet!

    When: November 12th!

    Where:
Looking for outdoor adventure near St. Louis?? Play paintball - book your birthday or bachelor party; team building event, church, youth group or school event!

Thats the website with pics. The owner (Sal Briguglio) is a mag user from way back. He and I worked out a good deal to have a private group for an AO meet.

    How much:
$15 entry and all day air/Co2.

They have 4500psi fills, (well 4000-4500 depending on the tanks, but the compressor keeps them above 4000 for the most part)

BYOP! or PMI Premium (or equivalent) for $60 a case.

Start time: 8am or whenever we have enough people to get started!!!!

    End time: 4pm

Fields avaiable: wooded, bunker, airball, ballwall, and a fun Castle field (attack & defend style)

Bring your own lunch or we can order Domino's pizza for lunch. There is a subway 5 minutes away also.

Drinks and snacks are for sale. (water, soda, NO gatorade, chips, and candybars)

    Chrono speed 280 fps

    After meet festivities:
Ok, there are many types of restaurants within 15-30 minutes to go to afterward.
Dennys, Hooters, Lonestar (steak), Culvers (burgers), Chilli's, Applebees.
If everyone lets me know what the general consensus is, I can try and arrange a seperate room.

    OR,

Since it will be cool outside, I may (Well I am sure its ok) be able to Talk Sal into letting us hang around the field and have a small bonfire, that we can all hang around. We can BBQ some burgers and dogs, and maybe a few people can bring some tater salad and stuff lke that. IF we want to do that, I will personally take care of the DOGS and BURGERS!!!!!!

Any questions, drop me a line, or post it here.

I'm in, though I will warn you all now about my lack of skill with a paintball marker.

I will try to bring two or three others with me as well.

        Restaurant for sure.

I likes to relax after a day of PBall, someplace with squishy chairs preferably.

I'll hopefully make it and bring along a friend or 2. I'm currently quitting paintball, but since this sounds like such a fun day I might be able to borrow a gun from a friend. If anything, I'll just go take pictures and hang out.

I vote bonfire, nothing like staring into hot embers of a big fire and reflecting on a great day of paintballing. I'm a vegaterian, so I'll bring some vegi burgers or whatever for myself.

sounds great, I'm assuming they have 3000 psi fills as well, cuz I havnt seen a field with only 4000+ fills. also you didn't say what day, are we still doing this on nov. 12th?

Count me in for sure. I can't wait to meet fellow members of AO. Letting you know now it has been awhile since i last played. Don't treat me like the last kid in gym class.

I did edit the body of the thread and added the date, I should have done that originaly.

And yes they have 3000 fills.

As an added incentive, I'm bringing along the new Ultimate Mag (see the dealer's forum if you don't know what that is yet), AND a classic mag with my new Mechanical frame on it.

Come on down, and be one of the first people to play a game with a Logic Electro Mag, or if you prefer mechanical markers, you can wrap your paw around the hybrid angle mech frame and take my classic for a spin.

See, touch, experience, etc. Bring clean undies.

                    Its ridiculous, I promise.

Yea, I talked to them before about an AO day, BUT dont sweat it, it will not be an issue. I will call Sal today. You gotta understand, I have helped build and run that field for years, until about 2 years ago I slowed down and took it easy. I generally just play there now, but I do go help out when needed or the Air compressor goes kapooey........lol.
