I think it is worth looking into.

I know for me, I could do June 10th & 11th. After that I have a wedding a weekend till the end of June!!

Ok we have somemore info about lodging now....

University Inn -about 2 miles from the field- is willing to give us a group rate of 49.99/night.

Piccadilly Inn -across the street from the field- is willing to give us a group rate of 84.99/night.

Oh, by the way -if anybody who draws really good, try and draw up a cool graphic to commemorate the event and we will put it on t-shirts and sell them for like $10 and put an option online so they can buy one when they register.

also, thereis a t-shirt guy that will come out to the event and put
names/numbers/team names/whatever on peoples jerseys - so everybody can
start thinking about if they want a nickname and to bring out their jersey
and he will do it right there on the spot. not sure what the price will be right now but it shouldnt be too much.

also the paypal page is down right now but will be back up in a day or two. the webguy it redoing the page so that we can pay for paint and shirts if you want to preorder those.

One thing though as far as I know there is no Picadilly inn across the street from the field. There is one down the street thought but if I had to pick I would choose the Univeristy as it's a strighter route to the field. It's looking good though.

Picadilly is a straight shot down Cedar to the Field. University is the one that is a bit farther off. The bonus to University Inn, you can easily walk to Dog House Grill and it's just off the freeway. There is also a Starbucks very close. University is not hard to get to the field from. Picadilly probably will be the nicer room, but for half the price...

Can't wait to see you guys there. I'll be playing on April 30th at Splats. My buddy's employer is renting the field. I'll let you know how they run things.

Splat

I went out and played this afternoon at Splats. They changed the field configuration from last month when I played. I talked with the owner. He is going to try and get the Paypal link up this week. He said his Internet guy said it was there, but no one has been able to find it. Sort of like that DevilMag myth.

The field was run very well. I will end on this, the last game was a 5v5 and somehow, I took out all 5 in like 60 seconds. Sprinted the whole field to do it. Can I get a bed and some Icy/Hot please.
