Velocity is a nice park and all, I used to live like 5 minutes from it a few years ago. However even for some SD AOers it is in the middle of nowhere. I think we are looking at going to Camp Pendleton for the next one, so that LA/IE and SD folks can get to a more central location. Or Jungle Island in Lake Elsinore. Timing is another thing with christmas holidays and folks blowing wads of cash on thier kids etc... Either late january or febuary sometime for largest turnout to be a good timeframe for the next get together.

Last time I went to Pendleton I tripped on roots and divots on one of the fileds. I'll make it a point to not move to fast. (which I don't already). Camo does work there but the speedball fields aren't too stellar. The place is made for woodsball which gives me an excuse to break out the paintball vest.

I totally agree. I think some place in the middle might work well, but if we are worried about cash then we can do an AO day at HSP. I can get us a private group as long as we all buy HSP paint. I know it's a drag, but thats the best deal I can make with my bosses. Just a thought.
