We tried Central California (Fresno) last time and no one from the South showed up.

Even though it is a drive for me, make it in the South. Hopefully no lower then Los Angeles. You SoCal guys can pick a place. Please try to keep it out of San Diego or even Orange County that just makes the drive very long.

Well then the closest to Central Cali without actually being in Central Cali is California Paintball Park in Castaic.

I'd probably elect this to be the place, It'll keep you from fighting LA traffic.

I think that is a good compromise.

It will take a norcal player 5-6 of driving and a socal players 2 hours of driving and an additional 2 hours of L.A traffic

Are they equipped for a large group?

I was thinking of driving my RV down and staying in it. Is the place big enough and would this be allowed. If not are there lodging accommodations near by. These are all things that we need to know.

How far is it from the Lake cut off or Magic Mountain I know there are accommodations there.

I must say I like the location keeps us from having to cross the LA Basin, well then, there is always the 210

It's pretty close to magic mountain. I think it's like 7 or 8 miles away.

I think a trip will have to be made this month to scout the area. I've passed thru the area and have noticed that there is lodging nearby.

Unless anyone lives near there and wants to volunteer any info?!?!

I have played there a couple times. Since they have been taken over they seem to be steppin it up out there. They have a couple new airball fields now. And yeah Magic Mountain is 10 miles away tops, so plenty of lodging there. NorCal will also aviod hitting any major traffic playing at CPP.

Sounds like this plan is in motion. I'll bring out the PumpMag again, schedule permitting if the selected days work out and not conflict with any Tournaments.

From what I gathered we were working on June 23rd (possibly 24th) at California Paintball Park in Castaic.

This DOES need to happen so I hope we are headed in that direction.

Let us Poll on that unless there are other ideas out there.

Please don't let this die like last year.

I think it would be wise for some of the SoCal guys to try the place out. A little RECON if you will.

This way we can get current information on the field and how the place functions. Maybe even give them a heads up as to what our intentions are.

The place looks good on the web page. It would be great to have some first hand information. Unbiased!
