End of story... Working with velocity is way to difficult...

Their private games are a rotation around the walkon's so there really is no time savings...

I was told if i wanted to reserve a field, i could pay 3K and i could have rights to the airball field.

SO walk on it is...

I say we all play on the same team and give out a AO beat down to those that come against us.

Next AO meet should be at Camp Pendleton. They are extremely easy to deal with for private parties and the turn around time for games is great.

whats going on??? I have been away on the east coast for a week and a half. I was planning on going to the april 7th soCal AO day and just walk on @ velocity and play with you guys. I live about 35 minutes away so I was just gonna get up on april 7th and head to the field when ever and ply walkons with all yall. Im gonna play paintball in san diego somewhere that day, so let me know where you guys are playing and ill come ball it up with you guys. ill bring a few extra guns if anyone needs to borrow one...an 06 angel the gat and an 07 ego....and of course my super duper mech mag.

im down for the base. I live 7 minutes down the 5 in Encinitas so thats closer for me. I havent been to the field there though because everyone tells me its not to fun, from a tournament players perspective. I do really like playing tournament style ball (i play xpsl, nppl, and hopefully soon some psp/nxl style events) but im not that typical narrow minded teenager most people think of when they hear "tourny ball". I dont mind crawling around with my mech mag all day long. so where ever youguys decide to go ill come out and give it a go.

Camp Pendleton

$ per player
Walk on $15
Private group $20 (Must have a minimum of 15 people)

If we have less then 15 people it will cost everybody a little more then $20.

For example:
$300 / 12 people = 25$ per person.

If we have more then 15 it will still cost everybody $20

Gas refills:
CO2 (1oz - 9oz): $1.00
CO2 (10oz - 15oz): $2.00
CO2 (16oz - 20oz): $3.00
High-Pressure Gas: $1.00 per 1000 psi

We only have to send in a %50 deposit ($150) in the form of a check 1 week prior to the event. So today or tomorrow.

Well, CP doesnt have all day air either, so I guess that makes Velocity about $5 more expensive.

Personally the fields look a little more fun at Velocity. From people who have played at Velocity, whats the turn around on the games?

Edit: CP doesn't care how many people are on the field as long as they at least have $300 in their pocket. So we just need 15 or so to guarantee we come up with $300. If more people come then great.

I am not a huge speedball fan.

With that said I have always had a great time at CP.

They have 1 devoted speedball field and it is pretty lame. They have a number of other speedballish fields. They are flat and open but big. They also have a few woodsball fields.

The turn around time in a private group is as long as it takes you to fill up on paint and air.
