AO-WI, IL, MN: Paintball Sams Big Game 1 May 5th and 6th

Is there any more information? Like prices and hours? When will it start? When will it end? That kinda stuff.

price = cost of paint

pre-order paint runs for $85 a case (formula 13 if i remember correctly)

hours, gates open at 6 or 7 am on both saturday and sunday first game is usually around 9ish

games end around 5 or 6ish

there are usually 3 or 4 HUGE games. if you get shot out of the huge game they have a reinsertion game that runs on there nicuragua field.

there is also a medic rule. gun, legs, arms, can be healed 2x before your out. body shots and head shots your out.

The most current stuff I have is from the last game in October. The all weekend air and the times are definately set (have been for years). Paint may be the same. I dont know for sure yet as the flyer has yet to come in the mail nor has their website been updated. I dont know the pre-order deadlines yet.

Day of Full Case - 95.00
Half Case - 50.00


All weekend air $10.

Gates open at 7 am.

Pre-game orientation a 9 am.

1st game starts at 9:30 am.

Day ends at 5 PM.

I just checked this thread and saw that my name was brought up. I will most likely not be there this year. Going to drive up to Bloomington for SPE07. "Mother" & the MXS gang are hosting a scenario out in central MO that I want to attend (wife has a HS chum living just down the road, so it is an easy one to do). I've always wanted to catch one of their games. I'll doubt October will happen either.

I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed for next year.

How young does Nicki let play? My son is dying to get out. He's only 5, so I guess I have a few years to go yet. Once he's old enough, watch out. The boys will get wild (he likes that smiley)

Oh No!!! Sorry to hear about your move Kendrick... I don't know anyone that would actually want to live in or around Boston.

Mike: Just one of those things I have to try. Haven't ever done one of their events. Sort of like a Dollak scenario. Did one when I lived out east. Was disappointed, but now I can say I've done one.

Kendrick: Nope, I'm bringing him up right. We already run around the house "shooting" each other w/ pump guns. Got to teach movement and trigger discipline first. Not going to let him turn into one of those punk kids running around these days shooting 20bps.

Looks like Sam's has updated their site with pricing and deadlines. I plan on being there at least Saturday. I want to play pump so my Sunday play depends on how much paint I shoot Saturday.

I only went saturday. I dont think that there were 400 people there. Played half field. To tell you the truth it felt like a Sunday during the fall big game. I did win a raffle prize for the first time in the 7 years I've been going out there.
