DFW AO Meet & Greet

There is a big game going on at OPGT on May the 6th. It is the annual Blackhawk Down game and it will be held on Sunday May the 6th. Anyone interested??? Here is the link to their site---> www.officialpaintball.com

eh ... maybe ... i had in my mind that we'd just meet and play a reg day of ball ... a scenario is a whole diff monster...

I agree with Shannon. I think we should hold off for a later date. May 6th is just a little over a month away and that simply isn't enough time to organize an AO event. Scenario's are okay, but not everyone is into them so enthusiasm for them would be meek in comparison.

I think the fall would be a better time. Probably September/October as it won't be too cold but it won't be too hot either.

Matt is totally right, it wont be as hot in late speptember/october... AND PLUS by then i will have my license and a car so its garunteed ill be there.

Yeah I vote for around late august to early september because it will be cooler and we will have time to organize it perfect(or pretty close). Not any last minute hot dog shopping and what not. Also so we dont have like 12 people show up. Thats just my opinion of couse but anyways im down for another ao meet.

if we do one at that late i should have no problem getting there....

but in the meantime ... ill be adding some of the DFW guys to my buddy list and when i decide to go play ill send a pm to you guys as a fyi and if you want to come along then ill see you there if not then maybe next time ...

so between the big meet and greet im sure there will be a small group here and there getting together.

I urge everyone else to do the same ... sure we can meet a couple of times each year as a big group ... but that doesn't mean i'm not going to invite like minded people to go play some walkons at the multiple fields we have in the area ...

and i think my next trip may be at the new field in waxahachie ... i kind of a good drive for local play when there are fields closer ... but i haven't played there yet ....
