    Woodsball...

    Hello folks,

Vacaville Woodsball Group invites you out to play!

My name is Brian, I live in Northern California and I belong to a growing Woodsball group in Solano county, Vacaville.

Our group is about three dozen members and growing. We have three battlefields at the moment, two of them on the same property and the other at a different location. We are in the process of acquiring a forth field in Fairfield, Gorden Valley.

We have day and night games. Day games are a blast, but the night games are awesome and the most challenging. Night games usually start around 7:30pm and go anywhere from 9 to 2 in the morning; they're really intense.

Our member games are free to participate (they are all member games), all we ask is that you pay for your consumables.
HPA is $10 for the day
CO2 is $7 for the day

We also sell paint just above cost to cover our our labor. Paint is by RPS:
    rampage
    premium
    all star
    marballizer

We also allow you to bring your own paint if you choose. Like I said, we just want to play!

The only rules are staying within the boundaries, no swearing (young kids play to) and that's pretty much it for rules. All gun fire modes are allowed. (I run my E-Tac on full auto.) Guns are chrono'ed at 280fps

We are in the process of purchasing a HPA compressor to lower the cost of air.
In a nutshell, I can't stress this enough, we're not in this for money, we just like to play that is why our games are free.

If you're interested or what more information, leave me a reply or PM me. I like replies, that way I can get to know everyone here at AO.

    Sounds like a blast.

If I still lived up in Tahoe, and didn't have a kid, and wasn't married, it would definetly be worth a drive down.

Yes! it is like nothing you've ever done. Playing at night under a full moon on a hill with clear ski's, I can't even begin to tell you how much fun and how challenging it really is. Expecially, with the bunkers and trenches, it gets pretty nuts sometimes. We've got a couple demo videos on the site if you care to see them?
Here's the hill where we'll be playing on the 30th: combatpaintball.net
and here is our jungle like creek bed; it's a very fast play field:combatpintball.net/videos.htm

About the young family thing, I totally understand. There would be no way I could do this fifteen years ago. I'm 41 and married for 17 years. My wife and I have two boys, 12 and 15 and if they didn't like it, I probably wouldn't be able to do it either. My wife and I want to move to Tahoe some day. but that all depends on my ability to earn money from the internet.

Anyway, have you visited our site? we could really use the support, as the site is so new.
we would really like to see some new people on our forum boards or even members regardless if they live near enough to play or not. we would really appreciate the support.

Sorry about the tangent, I just get a bit too excited about the game and meeting new players.

Hey, it's been a pleasure talking with you and take care of that family!

The only thing i hated is when you walked passed someone and you didnt know what team they were on. so when we found out we were not on the same team we just started at eachother and neither of us where hit

              Hey you guys are great!

I really appreciate the support. I'll post a map in the morning. please register so you can be informed of the next game.

We are trying to make it so not only the participation, but also the air will be free as well. But that's going to take more members.

I would like to make enough money from the Google ads to buy us an hp compressor - and when that happens, the air will be free. I say let Google and our affiliates pay for it all.

But like I said, it's going to take mucho members to make that happen.

Anyway, go join guys and I'll put up the link in the members area okay.

              thanks again for the support!

By the way, we'll have another video of the night games early next week, we would really like to have you guys there to be in the shoot - no pun intended.

Oh man, on a full moon on this hill we play on, the only way you can hide is in a shadow. If you stop out... bam, you're hit! it's that bright. night vision doesn't work because there's so much light. its like playing in the day with dark glasses on.

WE do the night games every full moon from spring time through fall. these games are so much fun it's hard to describe.

I"m going out to the field tomorrow to put up a couple more blockades along the right side of the hill to make more cover for flanking. it should our best time yet!

hey, I just posted the directions in the members area. there are directions from San Jose and from Tahoe.

So if you're in Sacramento, just use to Tahoe directions. or if you're in the Bay area, for instance Vallejo, use the San Jose directions.

Already guys, if you have any questions don't hesitate to e-mail me at: http://www.combatpaintball.net/paintballcontactus.htm.

Ya, you're right. I need to have someone proof reading for me.

Well, we had our night game tonight. in was very cool. Special thanks to teamdmspaintball.com. four of them came all the way from Martinez to participate. they were awesome.

Although, there were a few issues, I believe we'll get them worked out.

                          Hi

Hey there I'm up late and was looking around and found your post. Sounds like it would be awesome to play at night! And I've been wanting to get into playing woodsball more. I'm in Santa Rosa and have been pretty much outa the paintball loop for 6 months now so I'll check out your webpage and hopfully be able to come to a game soon.

That sounds great! last nights game was pretty coo, but there are a couple of safty issues we have to fix before we play agian. The good news is that they can be fixed before the next full moon which is in 30 days.

We always have creek bed battles during the day - usually on saturday mornings or after work during the week. I imagine you could make a saturday game - we have those every other week.

Go to the site and register so you can be informed for the next game, that way you will be informed of our games.
