    It Slays Me - Colorado

Ya know, it slays me that Colorado dosn't get more turnaments and notice for paintball. We got rocks, trees, bushes, hills, we are fairly centralized for players to come from all over the US. And yet Colorado almost never gets mentioned.

Even some of the locals really don't consider Colorado for good paintball. Had a local field owner tell me that automags "don't work at this altitude". Where did he get that? I didn't bother to tell him that I know of 3 mags that have been in use here for around 10 years with less trouble than even several tippmanns.

Wow, given the higher altitude I would gather that the ball would encounter less resistance then wouldn't it? Given the pressure and volume of air inside the gun are a constant until the marker fires and the gas is released (correct me if I'm wrong).

I think the difference in air density would be moot. You might get a few more FPS but not very much.

I get the marker set up to around 270 in the garage. Approximatly 5900'
and when I get up in the hills to play, approximatly 9000' it's around 290.
