Ok, I am so late getting this started, but i gotta know, AO what team to choose? I am bringing my team SGA up there this weekend. We know last year people had trouble finding our campsite due to so many people and tents at ION. This time we are making a flag pole for out campsite, so you guys should not have a problem.
Al Steel, what team are you on man? NJ Titans, how are you? All my other good buddies, hope you had a great summer, lets celebrate by shooting ball at eachother!
What team is AO hookin it up with for the event?

Tyrell won't be at this one. We are attending the Moonshiners game in Culpeper next weekend and will be at USANA next month for "The Russian Front" Oct 13-14th.

Giving Skirmish another try
Me and a few and the guys I play with will be attending this event, We are registered on the alien side. Just to clarify this will be the last chance we give skirmish to redeem itself, I don't know if anyone else here attended the stalligrad event but it was terrible. Worst paint ever and very poor refereeing. However no true scenario can argue how beatiful of a field skirmish is. If anyone else is registered alien let me know so we can try to get something started. And just for the record the german team will probably win, they do everytime, I don't think they really keep real scoring system at this field.Comment

aliens all the way
I know that the allied team is completly filled, I'm not sure about the german team. I am going with five of my best players, we are all adults and don't have time to be a "team" we just all go to events and play the game we have been playing for years. If you are an adult and don't wear a jersey to a scenario event you are more than welcome to roll with us. Offer is open to everyone at this event registered alien.Comment

Wherever you go...make SURE you are wearing body armor (Level IIA, Police issue, ballistic plating) and a Lexan Riot helmet because at Normandy...a few Allied bastards were shooting marbles and HOT...out to 450 fps hot, two were arrested to my knowledge.. This is no lie, look around at the various forums and talk to refs that quit because of this year's Normandy game.Originally posted by Bassaro
2. We keep saying that year after year. I'm done with Skirmish until they fix their deplorable field practices. Paul's all about the money...and could give two ****s about player's safety.
3. I was at that game and the paint wasn't that bad...I used my Trracer and my only problems stemmed from me racking the slide too fast. I've heard a lot of people complain about the paint...and that could be the case...but I never had a problem that wasn't my own fault.

5. Not likely anytime soon.....You see, 12 or 13 of the 15 major teams that made up the GWM are boycotting Skirmish. They will not step foot on their soil andabout 300 other 'individual' players have also joined the boycott.

cant see it its blocked at work and no connect at home pbn and thatr one are locked down
what i heard saw and almost got hit by were cranked vel and reballs or ruffusdogballs that were sold at the game which is dumb in my opinion but marbles have u ever fired one?????? if you could get it up to the correct speed ur prob using a mag and it would kill someone if it hit them btw 300 fps can kill with a little stick AKA ARROWS and if u have to crank your speedup to get them to travel any distance my45 lb bow shoots slower than my mag
