Yes. There was rain. And lots of cheating.

But I did have a great time camping with maniac and Nu Metal and their crew.

Reffing was horrible. I saw most refs just standing around scratching their "butts" or huddling up in a big orgy of 20+ all game. People blatantly wiping paint or not calling out the whole game while refs just watch them and laugh. After a few hours of play, the only fair thing to do seemed to follow along and not call out yourself .... the refs didn't seem to care much. I also witnessed many refs being very rude to players about other not so serious things. I mention to a few refs about a tank possibly shooting a bit hot and that they needed to be chronoed, and they seemed to blow that off saying they don't have chronos. Yet when they hear a RT trigger shooting at night, they cream in their pants and about 10 of them instantly surround some guy yelling at him instead of the other 9 continuing to ref the game. I also witnessed a lot of refs getting all pissed off when they get shot a few times. Do they not expect to get shot when reffing a game with this much paint flying around? Suck it up...geez. I normally don't complain about refs at all, but this was just horrible. I hope they were not getting paid.....

Another thing that was disappointing was that there were no missions or objectives in the game (or none that I ever came across after playing both days and at night). The whole thing just seemed like a huge kill fest with unlimited, unregulated law rockets flying around (seemed like the only way the refs would call people out). I have no clue how they determined a winner on that game, although my team (blue) supposedly won. With a place like Blanding, there could have been some really cool missions.

It was cheap, pretty fun, and the facility was sweet, but I don't think I will want to play at another LCP event as long as I have other options.

This was my 3rd trip to Blanding , the thing about Blanding is the type of field ; door knocking , not really my type of game . The last 2 that i've been to , there have been over 1000 people playing , in my opinion way to many folks for the field . If I go again it will be to a limited player event
As far as missions go I heard a few being called in , I think most missions went to the large teams
The Refs seemed to adopt the attitude of a lot of the players ; I'm playing anyway (hit or not ) , at one point me & another fellow bum rushed a group of about 8 guy's , I got hit , he got hit & we walked out on the way out he commented that he saw paint break on 2 guys but neither called out , I told him my philosophy : I don't care if they cheat , if that make's them feel better so be it , I play honest ball that's what makes me feel good
And really , at the end who cares which side won , as long as we have fun

Well, I had a lot of fun. It was good to meet you Warwitch, maniacmachanic, and others (whose names I forget unfortunately). Thanks for looking at my emag. Looks like I'm going to end up sending it back to AGD. Even the certified AGD tech couldn't get it working. At least I now know how to thoroughly strip it down. Oh, and moving that trailer was fun too.

Too bad I never got to see any of ya'll on the field. It was hard enough to find my team as it was.

Amen to that. Facilities were sweet, but the play was an atrocity.

On an up-note, I did get a hearty laugh when Nu and Dixieoutfitter94's "extra level of protection" decided to collapse under the weight of 10 gallons of freezing rain water (at 2:30 a.m. )

And here are my buddy Jay's accomodations. The inflatable matress was larger than the floor of his tent.

......that was gay! I had to sleep in the trailer and NU_METAL tried to sleep in his jeep.

It was cool though. Yes, everybody was cheating but who has'nt been their own medic atleast once?

Kyle, The refs pulled me off the feild after they figured out what an RT mag was during the night play. The ref was like "is that on semi?" . One guy asked what kind of board I had in it!

Hi, just wanted to say it was nice meeting alot of you guys at the game, I was the guy walking around with the Tac One in the retailer area. I thought the game went ok for the amount of people there.

The game went ok, the rest of my team Short Bus Avengers had a blast but in usual fashion my Mini and then my Tac went down in time for the finale battle ( I take very good care of my marker, I just have that special touch though, also known as bad luck). I was very disappointed in the missions but that was on the blue General imho. He seemed to be giving them all to certain teams and excluded the rest.

Ill be moving up to WA here in a few weeks so this was my first and last game with some of you but Ill continue to lurk here on theses forums, always allot of good info here.

Nope, my mag started leaking about 10 min before the final battle so I zip tied a team shirt to a stick and ran around like an idiot with a Mohawk for the first 10 min of the final battle giving away my paint.

The only other Mags that I know were out there were the guys from Smokin Products (Tac Ones), Warhawk from Mayberry Marauders (E Mag) a guy from FL I met at Scorpion King (E Mag), and you guys

I was on the blue team though

The water was on your side which I was fine with then I looked down 2 seconds later and shammoo was swimming around my legs. I don't think anybody will realize how funny that was (WHOA ) unless they were there.

In the trench area just after the final battle started. The two guys were definitely together / friends.
