What is the turn out for castle conquest like?

Hey,

I am trying to decide if it is worth making the drive to Castle Conquest.. So, how many people show up to this event? Is it well organized? Do the refs put in the extra work to make it fun for the people playing? (i.e. do the "generals" of the teams really get into it? I find that a good enthusiastic general can make or break a day at a scenario game)

EMR is, from what I heard, one of the best run parks in the USA. I know that Carter's Commando from MCB consider castle conquest one of the must do games of the year.

I hope to get out there some day.... Last I heard it was like 800ish folks, but I could be wrong.

I have never heard anything negative about an EMR event (other then paint prices).

Last spring the turn out for Castle was close to 1500 players. you have to experience it to believe it, 4:1 odds(attackers:defenders). Only missed one in the last 6 years.
