    Oklahoma D-Day 6/7-13/2010

Hopefully we'll have those NEW AO jerseys that Big Evil is cooking up right now.

Who is going to join the Automag Army with me for this one?
I've never been, but I'm going this year no matter if I drive there myself and play with nobody.

I plan on going with my son. I'm getting my M1 Carbine and Thompson ready.

I'll be there, this will be my 5th year also. 4th ID for me! Will either have the qbow, etac, or mag-rifle. Unless I find myself a nice Xmag before then.

As I said before, this will be my first year. I will be going with my 14 year old son.

Any guidance on which unit to choose? We want to play for the allies. I am leaning towards the big red 1 (because I really liked the movie). I would also appreciate any advise on what to bring (paintball and camping related).

If your dead set on playing Allied, any beach unit would be ideal. If you want to start on top of the hill and play German, there are loads of great infantry units to choose from. Im playing for the GJs again this year.

As far as any camping or other questions you have, the D-Day forums have loads of information on them. If you have any questions not answered on the forums, feel free to pm me or just post your questions on the forum.

I'll be fighting with the 6th Fallschirmaeger.

                GREEN DEVILS!

Tell me that doesn't get you pumped.

Come join the 899th Tank Destroyer Battalion

While other units may say that they fill the "sniper" role, the only "snipers" in paintball are the AT gunners.

Want to stalk a high value target while looking for the perfect opportunity to take that one, well-aimed shot? Then playing an anti-tank gunner is for you.

Want to have your fellow troopers screaming for your help when they run into a tank that they can't kill? Then playing an anti-tank gunner is for you.

Want to be one of the proud 70 Ddayers who have the honor of carrying a AT weapon? Then playing an anti-tank tank gunner is for you.

Want to always know exactly what your role is in the bigger picture? Then playing an anti-tank gunner is for you.

Do you have a burning desire to send tanks to the dead zone? Then the 899th Tank Destroyer Battalion is for you!

If you have any questions about the 899th, feel free to PM me

PS As a special note to you AO guys, this is one of the few units who build quite a bit of our own equipment for use during the big game. From marker-based anti tank weapons to mobile heavy weapons to tanks, we build it all. I think it could be a great thing to have some of you tinkerers from AO come out.

I gotta say the anti-tank crews have some cool stuff... And whoever put out those mobile machine gun carts, they saved my life a few times while taking the beach! Its pretty tough to fit you and a buddy behind a 3 foot piece of plywood while trying to take cover from a tank while being completely exposed out in the middle of the road.... yeah, that was fun!
