Sweet sniper rifle! I like it. It looks like a M24 sniper weapon system. Well done! How long did it take?

Yeah basically just a drop in, except for the conversion from pump to bolt action and the lever change in the stock. The trigger mech is about 7 inches further back than the stock phantom, and the scope is on an adjustable base. If you just bolt on a scope it's useless (except for spotting). The base has a thumb screw at the back (visable in the second pic) and a pivot pin in the front. Turn the knob and the back of the base raises and lowers, this raises and lowers the scope for various distances. I can put the crosshairs on a target at 35m, hit it, turn the wheel to raise the rear, put the crosshairs on a target at 65m and hit it.

I need to draw up the blueprints for both.

          Rick927:
I spent about a week on the plans. I wanted to be sure it worked without major design changes, so I took my time in the planning phase.

Actual work time is a guess because I worked on it for a couple hours a day for about a month. The woodwork took the longest by far. Drilling out the hole for the lever change and the micro line was the worst part. With a mil and the right bits, the stock could be done in an afternoon. But that has to be done after the action, trigger and air lines are connected to the bottom of the Phantom so you know how much wood to remove from the inside.

          Check for PM.
