ok i give up on the at-4 and all those stocks and barrel and all that other EXTREMELY expensive stuff. i realized that i had a gas through stock...then i realized that my ranger can take cocker barrels (duh it's made by wgp, stupid me) then i realized that i had a site rail on the ranger...and i noticed that i had a flashlight and some mounting brackets.

so...put that all together and you get.

well...guess im gonna be a SnYpER after all

Here's my current scenario marker (atleast until the TacOne comes in). It is a lowly little Trracer but it sure is accurate and quiet.

            cool mounting brackets and etc..........

try looking at this sight www.gggaz.com They have a lot of custom accessories, not cheap though.(I am sure rick can get all this too).I have a minimag I am thinking about extending the body rail with the front section of a RT-Pro and putting a sling stud on the front for my harris bi-pod.I want a tac one body also.I just aquired a Cyclop nightvision scope but I think it will be a little too big to mount on a paintball gun.I added a pic I reworked in paint to show the rail Idea.I also found a guy here in fla that will annodize my gun in a great camo pattern, although it ain't cheap either.I guess one step at a time.
            TAC-ONE Camomag,Retro Valve w/LVL-10,milled RT-Pro rail,E-mag battery pack,KAPP stubby dropzone,CP on/off, 16" Stiffi and it's bewy,bewy qwiet

Rick do you have any CAR stocks for sale? May take ya up on the handguards as well, I DID buy one of the AT4's that Snyper was talking about and it does look silly without the handguard

badinfo-No stocks in the shop right now, I have plenty of handguards. www.m-aparts.com has the cheapest prices for mil spec parts. Have you had a chance to shoot your AT yet?LMK
richie-Mag looks sweet, GG&G is top of the line tactical gear, very nice. If you had an extended(rearward) sight rail you could mount your night vision without too much trouble. The outer diameter of the mag body is the same as a remmington 700 receiver, so any stock rail will fit. Then all you have to do is drill and tap you mag body for the new sight rail screws, just be sure to dremel them flush on the inside so they dont bugger up the valve. The new TAC1 bodies are going to be cool. Have you thought about a different finish from anno? www.Brownells.com makes an exellent 2 part, bake on ennamel in black, that is tough as nails. If you add two cover coats of green & brown allumihyde paint over it you got camo for about $30-$40 depending on how many coats of paint you use.

Rick, no I havent shot it yet, still waitin on the UPS guy to show up
The seller sent me some pics, and it definitely looks dumb without the handguards. Plannin on a larger tank and remote system so I can use a stock, the 13ci tank it comes with is a little small methinks. Will let ya know how it goes when I get to put it through its paces.
Your conversions are SWEET btw, nice stuff!

Thanks, I like to use a 4500/88 and remote, if I could get that damn hopper off the top it would look better. A buddy of mine sent me infor on the new Q-loader, it looks cool, like a pod/warp all in one. They are going to be like 250$ for the kit with 5 pods. Oh well, I'm saving my $ now. PM me if you want the grips.

why is the Q-Loader priced so high? With what i've seen it looks like a pod with a spring inside of it that pushed the paintballs...big whoop. that should cost $50 at most. Someone please tell me why this thing is so expensive!

Its more of a helical magazine than a pod. Like carrying 5 revy/pod combo's at 25$ each, plus a loader set up & gun mount. I like the idea, but I have no idea why they are so much, other than the company thinks people will pay that much to buy them. Loading the pods looks a little time consuming, but all in all a good idea. If you could buy them direct from China they would be $20.00 www.qloader.com here's the link for those who have not seen it.

Rick has a "REAL" CAR stock on his mil-sim mags. For the AT-4, you'll need a gas thru car stock.
It looks pretty much the same, but mounts to the ASA on the back of the AT-4, and is hollowed out. Comes with a male quick disconnect on the bottom.
Or a "Car stock adapter", which allows you to mount a CAR stock to the asa, while attaching a remote at the same time.

ATS sells them both complete assemblies and just the adapter (if you already have a stock)
(www.getrealpaintball.com), as does United Paintball.com. $100 for the whole enchilada, $26 for just the adapter.

Or get a gas-thru T-stock for $30, if you don't mind its looks.

The AT-4 has spyder barrel threads, BUT spyder barrels won't really work with it, as the barrel flange isn't long enough, so it doesn't sit as far back in the chamber as it should. You may have feeding problems, and finding one that is the right outer diameter for the forward shroud is very hard.

This space on the stock barrel is trimmed back and threaded differently, and that's were the unisizer sits.
Stick with the stock barrel, as it is the right length, and takes the unisizer, which spyder barrels do not.
Also, you'll be amazed at the accuracy.
I sure was! Better than a freak barrel kit any day.

This is the first gun I've ever owned where the stock barrel absolutely rocks.
But if you're dying for a different barrel, I'm told Palmer Pursuit can make you a custom one.

An idea that occurred to me today, after looking at the Q-loader video again, was having a custom mag body and rail made to do a bullpup configuration gun, which thanks to the Q-loader, is quite doable now.

Stick the loader over the barrel feeding back to the feed port, and you can fit a 14 or 16" barrel into a whole gun only about 20" long, but more importantly, with very little barrel protruding past the foregrip. Also in overall height it'd be shorter than even an A-5.
