Has anyone here been to the D-Day Scenario at Skirmish in Pennsylvainia? I've been there to play, but have never been to a there D-Day Scenario. Is it worth going? Pros and Cons of it? Thanks for any feedback.

I havnt gone to there D-Day yet, But I plan on going this year. I have gone to other senerio games there before and they where great and from what I hear D-Day is the best one to go to. I just need to get out from reffing it.

I was there last year, I'll be there this year as well.

Only I always work at these events. With 1800-2500 players, I have a lot of tech work that'll keep me busy! Nothing like fixing everybody else's broken markers for a good 8-12hrs.

Yup! I went last year and it was great. Normally i hit up all their scenarios, i missed Castle Keep this year though, i'm going to make sure THAT doesnt happen again.

I might actually go Allied this year. Last year we (nazis) raped them and they never stood a chance. Should be interesting to see what happens this year. Maybe a few of us could meet up somewhere, i know a few guys from PBF are meeting up with me when i get there.

Anyway, if you're thinking of going, do it, you wont regret it!

If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

                    camping?

How does it work regarding overnight accomodations? I've heard you can camp out, but is the game still being played? or are there designated rest times?and what about eating? i know food will be there for sale, so there are times when you can go eat and not get shot up by a nazi? any info anyone might have on this would be appreciated, thanks!

Yes you can camp out or bring a RV or something. You can eat any time during the day. Where the food is sold there is the area with benches you can sit at and not have to be worry about getting shot.

Here is the Schedule for the day

                      SATURDAY:
                      7:30am - Gates Open
                      8am - 10am - Check-in, Paint Sales, Team Assignments, Field Map Distribution
10:30am - 11:30am - Game Orientation, Objective Assignments, Rules Briefing, Chronographing
                      12Noon - Game Starts
                      SUNDAY:
12Noon - Game Ends, Awards Begin

I went to last year's D-Day too. It was super. I was on the Allies... and we were ravaged... rectally. Just watch out, last year, there seemed to be a HUGE issue with the people who filled co2 tanks. They kept on overfilling... exploding burst disks for all! I would advise just putting down a credit card and renting a small nitro tank at the place. I learned this the hard way and missed the beach storming... damn
