    Lessee if I remember correctly.
Just under 500 players, (I think Mother said 495 or so) and the most evenly matched game of the three.
Eliminating the Generals was very minor in points, and capturing the enemy base had no point value at all. It was all in the Mission Card that had to be signed by the Ref. By the end of Saturday nights play Sauron and his dark horde had 22, and the fellowship had 23.
The refs were great, all over the field. Our generals, Flash and Smokin' Joe were terrific to watch. The role playing had some great staged scenes and the Fell Beast had to be seen to be believed.
Sundays play was mostly done across the open fields and Saurons troops were held back confined to Mordor during the morning. They really made up for it with a veangence by pushing hard and winning the final battle, but it wasn't quite enough and the fellowship was declared the winner having accomplished 36 missions to mordors 27.
The final points I'm a little fuzzy on, I think it was 650 to 725. (feel free to correct me on any of the numbers here)

Big thanks for a great weekend are numerous, to Mother and Pac-Man, Bobby Gogolin and all the refs, Blue of course, and Sue (who hung out the sun-god for us), "Smokin' Joe" Stayback as Aragorn and James "Flash" Peterson as Sauron and all the players who made this a most excellent game.
