Although Vampires and Werewolves have always been the stuff of legend, they have been thought of as just that: legend.
However, those legends, like many, had their basis in fact. Both of these variations on the human theme have simply maintained as much secrecy as possible, lest they meet the same end as Frankenstein's monster at the hands of a frightened public.
As they moved through time, these two species have found strength in numbers, and have formed advanced hierarchies and political structures. They have also developed a violent distaste for each other. The Vampires came to loathe the savage and uncontrollable nature of the Werewolves (or "Mutts" as they began to call them), and the Werewolves grew resentful of the Vampires' "unholier than thou" attitude.
And so a war has brewed, and been waged, for centuries.
Additionally, genetic advancements and evolution have resulted in the Werewolves being able to shapeshift at will, and for the Vampires to be able to become immune to the rays of the sun. However, as creatures of the night, they are far weaker during the daylight hours.
Now, we move forward in the story to the present day. Up until now the assaults of one species on the other have consisted to limited strikes on small sanctuaries, and assassinations of key individuals. All of that is about to change. The winds of war are blowing, and an unholy battle of epic proportions is soon to come. A war much like the past wars of humans, with the development of strange, new weapons, and waves of soldiers meeting with screams of carnage.
Will you become one of the pagan, shapeshifting Werewolves, or one of the unholy immortals known as Vampires? Or perhaps you fancy yourself one of the mortal minions who do the bidding for either of these creatures.
You decide as Viper Scenarios presents Twilight Zone VIII: "Bloodfeud" October 1st, 2nd, & 3rd at Hurricane Paintball in Fairfield, TX.
Register by the "Early Bird Deadline" and you will automatically be entered into a special drawing available only to those registered by this date. This year the "Early Bird" drawings are sponsored by Cops 911. We will be drawing for two of their incredible, custom Paintball Tactical Vests. These awesome vests are becoming a necessity with many scenario players, and can be set up with such features as a flip-open map holder, flip-open badge and ID card holder, radio pouch (fit to your radio), mask holder, accessory pockets, and any configuration of pod holders you can think of, including ten-round tubes if you are a pump or stock-class player! It will also be personalized with your name/callsign and your team name if you wish! Winners will receive a certificate that they may redeem for the base vest, plus they will receive 50% off of up to $50 worth of accessories. The winners simply send the certificate to Cops 911 along with their measurements and the features they wish for the vest to have. They will receive their custom, made-to-order vest in no more than three weeks, guaranteed!
