Ghillie Suits?

I wanted to know if anyone who surfs this thread has owned a ghillie suit or used one and what they thought of it...I've actually been thinking of picking one up just for fun and because i always hide in a bush and wait for some moron to walk by anyways...

I built my own ghillie suit and it worked great. If you have patience to sit and wait for the other team to come to you, then they cant be beat, but on the move its not going to help as much and you will just look like a running bush. They are great for big games and senarios but for a 15 to 30 min woods game being agrresive seems to be a better tactic. The best experience I had with it was a 4 on 1 in the winter with clasic mag and C02. I was walking through the woods and came across 4 of the other team when i tried to fire my velocity just died and couldnt get a ball farther than 40 ft. They noticed i had gun problems and were pushing hard for an easy kill. So i double backand run about 30 yards hoping to escape and decided to test to see how well the ghille suit worked. I lied out in the open on the woods floor no bushes trees nothing and they were walking searching for me and one came with in 15 ft and i poped him. Needless to say i got blasted after that but it showed how well the suit worked and i got one considering i had such extreme shootdown.

they are pretty cool. but keep in mind on what kind of suit you want to build. i have seen 2 types in scenario play. 1. is what i call the crawler...where the ghillie material is just on the back. this gives you a better advantage at crawling on the ground without the strands getting caught up in the underbrush. 2. the neal/squat ghillie. this has the ghillie strands all over the top half of the suit. this allows you to move short distances and squat and 'make like a bush' also if you are to wear a ghillie suit in a scenario remember any shot counts, reguardless if it breaks or not....just a little info for ya
