    MXS Valley of the Kings

I'm on a mission! If you've ever been to a MXS game at Herbies in NV you know it rocks SOOOOOO I'm hoping to get a bigger than ever attendance this year to show Mother and Pac how much we need them out West more than just once a year!! I go through withdrawals all year round. Anyways....... I love my mag and I love Tom for supporting MXS. And I love making cookies and treats for the masses so there will be something in it for you. Not to mention I'll be playing the character Angela Craft (Lara Croft) and will be in full gear for the event. Silver jumpsuit, double silver pistols, ponytail to my a$$(that's a long ponytail I'm 5'10". That is only one of the many costumes I'll be wearing.. so it should if nothing else be amusing

She failed to mention that Evil Inc. is running one side of the game. That's right boys and girls, Evil is recruiting.

We shall be in force at the game. After all we have about 5 birthdays plus it is the teams birthday too.

      Come one, come all

      Party with Evil Inc.
Try as I might, I can't understand why people keep going out of their way to walk into a paintball that I have just shot into the air.

Heh. It's an 11 hour drive for me. I've made it 5 times. I've never considered it a waste, even when my coolant pump and radiator went out to lunch on me. I like the place so much, I'm generalling this year. Hell, Steph's cookies are almost worth the drive by themself.

I've played a *lot* of venues, and Herbie's is still one of my favorites. I'ts not much for trying to sneak around, being essentially 80 acres of speedball field (whaddya want, it's a desert), but it's a blast to play. The regulars are some of the most fun, honest players you'll run into in paintball.

        This game will rock.

And BFE? It's an hour outside of Reno.
Do you really need an excuse to go to Reno?

At any rate, Evil Inc. will be there. With Emags, Tac-Ones, Sydarms, pumps, LAWS, mortars, smoke, grenades, mines, ghillie suits, night vision, Preacher's mysterious weapon of mass destruction, Advil, Icy Hot Patches, groupies, strippers, minor celebrities, Ed, Tau Feng, movies, Guiness, the water of life, green stuff, pedialyte, most likely a hangover, a few souls we purchased on eBay, and a great big bag full of dirty tricks .

          dont get me wrong..
MXS is "the best" promoter out there. mother and packman ROCK.
They have by far the best prize packs out there. they set the standard in my book on how scenario should be run and played..

          with that being said...

Our team can't and won't drive 14 hours one way to play..
we wish we could..really we do.

have fun guys and try not to set any generaters on fire.

That's alright , I understand the competition's too tough D'OooooHH! I'm just razzing you. But really it's your loss

Preach and Burph even though we'll be playing opposite sides and I'm sure you'll have plenty of tricks up your sleeves.... WAIT you don't usually have sleeves.. we're lucky if you have shirts on at all

AND one more thing!!!! Don't forget to read the fine print... it's got you in trouble before, and gotten me out of it!

To bad that Southwest Voodoo wont come out to play. I know of a lot of people that are coming from around the country to play this game.

I guess they dont have what it takes to take on Evil Inc. again. After all the last MXS game, 3 of us handed them their behinds, and they are saying they want payback.

Oh well, I can't wait to see everyone that comes to this game, it is a very special field with great friends on both sides of the game.

oh dont get so full of yourself preacher...how's this for a deal.

how bout you give us 5 free entrys and 5 free cases of paint, that way it will offset the cost of 10 guys driving 14 hours.

If we dont meet up with you guys this time {Evil Inc.} concider yourselfs lucky.

                  And we live there?

                  Me: 673 mi, 12 hrs 4 mins
                  Preach/Elmo: 599 mi, 8 hrs 27 mins
                  Mofo/Cable: 253 mi, 3 hrs 37 mins
                  Spot: 922 mi, 12 hrs 59 mins
                  Eskimo: 642 mi, 12 hrs 29 mins

And we ain't all coming from one direction, so forget about more than 2 of us carpooling or caravaning. And aside from Eski who just joined up, we've all done it for the last 3 years straight.

http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=142235 is a pretty good thread for ideas about what Herbies is like. The venue is very different from anything I've ever played a scenario on. But the bigger draw are the people. Lots of great local teams, and as many of the western scenario teams as we can pull in. We're also trying to make it something of a Nevada AO day, so expect a few names you recognize here. Right now, Herbies is as close to a home field as Evil Inc has. Something of a pilgrimage for us.

Like I said earlier, last year my car broke down in Winnemucca and cost me $700 to get fixed (in addition to extra motel nights, food, antacids, etc). Naturally, I'd have rather not paid that much, but I still didn't consider it a waste and managed to forget about it completely while the game was on. Well, OK, I did use the Sydarm instead of the Emag...

*Edit* What is this Dave and Busters of which you speak?

Het ED!! I was just in your neighborhood last weekend! Drove 8 hours to go see my dad in Goodyear, drove past LUKE and thought of you I'll prob. make it down to the Vegas event in Sept. as a spectator only of course

Soooo glad to see you'll be coming to Herbies too! IT's going to be the BIGGEST blast! Soo many birthdays so little time, it always makes the 6 hours to get there seem short, until drop dead Sunday night
