I did check it out and I think it looks a good start to a meaningfull organization. I not only sent my 5 bucks but I suggested to Wheels that in an effort to become more than just another online group, the Brotherhood look into the possibility of doing a little charity work. I envision 1 or 2 days a year where each region would do something to benefit some group in their area. It could be paintball related like volunteer to ref a charity event or not paintball related like attend a Habitat for Humanity work day, the possibilities are nearly endless. And the PR benefits for scenario paintball could be excellent. We will see where it goes but Wheels reply was very positive. Any of us who can afford to play scenario ball could spare a day per year to help someone who is not so fortunate!

OOOH, you two guys. Now I have a big tear in my eye. Group hug??
Seriously, I appreciate the comments and am glad we finally put this behind us. Just to let everyone know, we changed the name of our 9/11 scenario event to:
          RIOT POLICE
          The Michigan Conflict.

This has nothing to do with terrorists and is a very fun and upbeat game. We just finished a S.W.A.T. Charity event at Fox Paintball a few weeks ago and had a great time.
I didnt tell anyone about the change until now just because I wanted to see how far some people would go with bashing our original storyline for our 9/11 event.
This decision was made between both of our companies a while back and we changed everything over two months ago. We both still feel we did nothing wrong with the theme we picked seeing that other fields and scenario promoters have done storylines very close to the one we had chosen. We did, however, know that the original storyline maybe contriversial and may receive a negative reaction.
On the other hand, take The Passion of the Christ. Extremly negative reaction, but look at what it has done for the Christian community and what kind of publicity and money it brought in. Thats what we were looking for but chose a different theme for our own personnal reasons.
Anyway, thanks again and your invited back to any of our events anytime.
Oh, South East area you say?? We will be at SPLATBROTHERS PAINTBALL near Richmond, Virginia and at least one other field located in South Carolina in November. Were just waiting to see what the rough weather ahead will do to affect the situation with the economy being smashed by hurricane weather.
