Battle of the Bastogne - Sept 11th & 12th Byron, IL

Local Field is holding a WW2 Scenario Event on the 11th and 12th of 2004 and we would love to see some AO'ers come out and join in on the fun. Great owner and great field. All the information is contained in these 5 photo's of the packet of info for the event including a map of the field. Also is the registration form, the word karnage is simply there to recognize who you recieved the form and information from.

    Directions to the field: http://www.rockfordpaintball.com/id17.htm

    General Overview:
The battle of the bastogne is an annual and on going WW2 Scenario Game that will be played at the best field in the mid-west. Like others there will be Tanks, Bazookas, Snipers and Medics.

This 2-day event will have something for everyone, Contests for best dressed, Tank & Bazooka accuracy, and many others. Saturday Events include atleast 3 missions to familiarize you with your team and field layout. Sunday kicks off 7 hours of non-stop play (except short pause for lunch) including 7 constantly active scoring flag stations and 7 separate missions, which not only score points for your team but win, special advatages and bonuses that could turn the tide of the battle to victory for your team!

Rockford Paintball will be limiting admission to the first 300 people to maximize the players fun.

No innapropriate symbols allowed. We know this is a WW2 scenario, but as players of the sport, we set the standard and it is to be with honor to the game but mostly to all the soldiers and civilians that have served and/or died for their country in combat; We salute you!

Bazookas, Anti-Tank Guns, and all artillery must use the Nerf rocket system. Goto woodlandwarriors.com for scenario rules for air cannons.

Camping will be available on site at no charge.

The entry form is available via the link in the post below or you can email me at [email protected] if the link is giving you trouble. Also please direct general questions to this thread and will do the best to answer them and in a timely fashion.

    Pricing:

That's the only reason I hate going to paintball fields, the price of paint. Why not make it BYOP and have the people pay a fee to use their own paint? Lots of other fields already do that and are doing very well. Sounds great, but looks like 1 medic will sit this one out
