I am just wondering if you guys could give me some feedback. Does this game seem like something that would interest you? What kind of prize package would you expect to see at this type of event? Is there anything you would change?

The Knight Stalkers are committed to be there as well. I will pass along the discount information to the team so we can get this taken care of.

                "Scenario" Clash?

I've done my research, and i'm not sure this event, with its tourney-like format, is a true test of any scenario team. You've basically got a 10-person team fighting over an objective for a time limit. Even with the caveats like "no man left behind," isn't it still your basic game of capture the flag?

Don't get me wrong, if I had a 10-person team right now, I might consider, but with so many aspects of the game, those that make it decidedly scenario, missing, I'm not sure how much clout this event will give the team that wins it.

No, for this to be a true scenario challenge, it would have to be a continuous event of at least 24 hours. Teams run simultaneous missions and rush to adapt to an ever-changing battlefield situation. Incorporate a third player element, and place it within the context of at least a 400-player big game. With the scenario teams, that should make 700-750, easily contained and comfortable at Skirmish, Skyline, or EMR. Night missions exercise stealth patrolling and battle drills, and the team able to bring their fallen comrades get a bonus. People would cross oceans for an event like that.

I think that the scenario clash will be challenging, but speedball in camouflage is still speedball.

Well we believe with the plot twists and multiple objectives it will not be speedball at all, but instead a test of a teams ability to perform tasks with the pressures of opposing forces and time limits looming to create stress. In later renditions we may modify the game but right now we are looking for a proof of concept and a reaction to the game in itself. I do appreciate your comments and hope I have quelled some of your fears of this turning into scenario speedball.

We'd love to be there but we're all the way here in NV and that would be quite a trip for 10 of us to make. At least you'll find out who the best team in the East is.
