How do you think points should be won at a big game? Not a story-driven scenario game, but a simple big game with missions and props.
Should most points from holding/capturing bases, or from running missions? What sort of distribution? 50/50, 70/30, etc?
Discussing a recent game with a friend, he announced that thought it right that almost all the points come from missions, since the real value of holdng territory on the field is that it lets you move more freely to acomplish your tasks. It wasn't something I had considered before, but it makes some sense. On the other hand, 90% of players never bother with missions, they just want to throw paint and capture bases. Should their efforts count for so little?
