Well, I read and understood them. Not sure I remember all of it, as the mind is the second thing to go...can't remember what the first is...

An email for what? If its something you sent to Spiro or Kitty, don't hold your breath. They're taking their 2nd honeymoon (1st was only a couple of days). And guess where they're honeymooning?... why Ft. Ord, of course. Although they'll finally take some time for themselves, they do it with their players in mind.

I was told to email them. When Aegis and I registered I forgot to put Evil Alliance on the form and now i'm afraid we won't be put on the same team.

Rest easy. You will get to play with Evil Alliance. Your email requesting that team will be attached to your registration. I will warn you, however, that sometimes "informational email", such as yours requesting a team preference, might not get responded to... even though it will be acted upon. See you at the game!!

I concur with Jim. Don't sweat it. Scenario producers are *very* busy people. All else fails, they're usually able to switch you on game day. Be patient, this one will be well worth the wait.

Looks like I'll be emailing BC for registration changes.

                              Info from the BC forums:

I was with Spiro today, Here is a little more detail. This leak was authorized, but not checked for accuracy, by Spiro. I may be wrong about some of the details because they haven't been finalized yet. This is a leak, I am spilling the beans. I want to get all of you pumped up, and help you to plan. Spiro will make the official announcement on Friday! (I don't think he meant tomorrow, must be NEXT Friday)

The following services are to be provided by the base MWR (dept. of Morale, Welfare and Recreation. Basically the army's Dept. of FUN).

Meals in the community center for $5. Menus TBA, Starting Friday at lunch. I think one night will not have a meal do to some party that was booked a long time ago (Rumor) but, I could be wrong.

Shuttle from and to SJ airport for about $30 (not finalized)

Or how about a discounted Rent-a-car?

Camping equipment rental. all kinds of stuff from heaters to cots and tents. I mean c'mon, its the friggin army, think about all the gear they got lying around. Those heaters are gonna be SWEET at night!

Don't want to camp? OK, how about staying in the base hotel? I hear its 15 minutes away (it's a big base) rooms are $44 and up.
I would go for this if you can afford it. It can be a little cold and damp at night here. Can you say HOT SHOWER? MMMMMMMMM

The camping area is close to the food, and the ground is very soft (the base is built on sand) Ed said $10, I didn't ask/hear anything about price, so I can't say. I checked out the spots though, they are soft and there is a lot of iceplants, (like at the prison if you ever camped there) and some sort of low trees. It's a parking lot, but the dividers between the rows are big and park like. You can park,on pavement, next to your tent, which is on the grass/iceplants.

Thats all I remember right now. Some other amenities that will (reportedly) be provided/happening/available are:

Trucks patrolling the field to give you a lift back to your deadzone.

Paint and fills in the dead zones (which are at your CP). You buy tickets and turn them in for bags of paint or fills.

This is really going to be a cool game! just think, you can buy tickets for your paint, fills, and meals when you get there, you won't even need to carry money, unless you go to the massive vendors row! It sounds like everything you could possibly need will be available right there! The ONLY thing I didn't spot close by was an ATM, so be advised. I think the nearest one is in town, one exit down the freeway. There may be one on base, I just don't know where.

There is a comissary (military supermarket) and a gas station across the street, but you need military I.D. to buy stuff from either location. so this is only good for those of you with military I.D.

As the base transitions to non-military use, they are looking for ways to generate revenues. It is up to us to show them that paintball is a good way to make money. The best way to ensure that we will be playing more paintball at Ft. Ord is to utilize the services they are offering! As far as I can tell everything they are offering is very competitively priced. By taking advantage of what they are offering, you are paving the way for future games. Sure you could by lunch at Burger King, but will Burger King host a game like this in the future? I think not!

If they make money, we WILL be invited back!

Also be advised, Spiro has said absolutely NO CAMPFIRES allowed! Gas grills will be, no word yet on Charcoal BBQ's. Best just to buy from the Military vendors or bring a gas grill.
This will be due to high probability of no hydrants in service and the age of the houses.

Does anyone know if the prison will be included in play? I realize that we have alot of the base to play on but the prison was fun too I was wondering if it will be in the boundries?
