    I need help

I have just been put in charge of planning a charity scenario game on Nov. 6. The game has been heavily advertised and will be drawing about 200players(alot for my area) The problem is that I don't have a story or base for the game. The game is going to be played in a VERY large corn maze and thats the extent of whats done.

What I need is Ideas for what to do the scenario on, and what props to use. I was kind of thinking Signs, but that was a dumb movie and I would prefer something better. Let me know some of you ideas.

eh with further thought, pac man might not be best with 200 true scenario players.
Wasn't there some myth about a dude who had to make his way through a labryth, kill the minotaur in the middle, and then lead his army back through to the other side? You could do something like that.

          Let me think some more.

Pac-man could be do-able, although I'd think it'd be more big-gameish than scenario-ish. For props, pellets could be plain ol' Nerf balls. For the 'big pellets' you could use a painted basketball, and allow the carrier to be a 'terminator' that has to get gogged or cry uncle to be eliminated. Not much for roleplaying, but it would work for a shorter, Shatnerball-type game. On the other hand, with the close quarters of a cornfield maze, roleplaying might not be too feasable anyway.

For a little more roleplaying, maybe an X-files-ey Ufo investigators vs MIB/Majestic/CIA type thing. Plenty of opportunity for interaction, easy props, and it kinda fits with the venue.

Might also be interesting to do an ants vs beetles type thing. Scurrying around in tall grass and all...

            Muahahaha

Encyclopedia Mythica is the premier encyclopedia on mythology, folklore, and religion. Instant mythology since 1995.

              There's the description.

You could have team A start at one end and have to make it to the other end, kill the Minotaur (nearly invincible group of like 5 guys) and make it back. Timed.

Then reverse roles. Time it. Missions could be to "win" spawning stations. Final battle could be a single hit elimination firefight.

The intermission between team A and Team B could be a pac-man game for anyone who wants to play!

Actually after talking with both of my co-sponsors we are a go for pac-man. We are using ballpit balls for pellets, and the realy big hard to move beach balls for power pellets. Players who turn in a power pellet will get a shield for 30min. The teams will be pac-man in yellow shirts, and Mrs.Pac-man in Pink shirts, and 3 or 4 gosts in cut sheets that take five shots in five seconds to kill just running around killing everything while the two teams try to gather the pellets. I think it'll turn out well and be alot of fun. Thanks for your help.
