    D-Day Anybody???

I know this seems real early but D-Day 2005 has a pre-registration dead line of December 1st. Less than a month away. Just curious who and for what side, if you even have thought that far, you plan on playing on.

    Peace

That is just the deadline before the price rises again. Final deadline probably won't be till may or something. I will be going again this year and a few other oklahoma AOers will be attending too. I think we are going to do the ranger thing this year probably in the 2nd battalion.

2nd Batt. Rangers is cool, just watch out for Team Hotsauce.

Last year two of us were in 3rd Batt. Rangers, and with it being our first time @ D-Day, all I can say is storming the beach is one HECK of an initation (sp?).

It doesn't seem to bother you guys that the price goes up after Dec. 1, but I am just curious.....how much would the price have to go up to in order for you to decide it was too much to pay?

Since last year's D-Day was only my second scenario game I don't have to much to compare to, so as to tell if I am getting my money's worth at the $60 price. Honestly 60 seems to be just right for me personally. If the price climbs as high as 75 then I will probably hesitate big time. I might still go depending on the location, theme, and producer.

I will still wait till after christmas to pay for the entry fee, I don't see it getting any higher than 75.

Last year it went from $60 to $100 if you didn't make the deadline. I suspect there will be another deadline for $75 or so and then if you miss that one, $100. Just conjecture though.

Noyce.. I'm probably going. 60% sure as of now. I'm ordering a RAP4 by then too, so Ill be teh scenario gawd. But they'll probably end up not letting us use .43 cal paint again.

I heard they are banning full auto for this game - that is a shame I was actually thinking of going to.
Oh, and about that RAM 4 (not RAP 4 - thats just the vendors name) - do not buy one. They are cheap, poorly machined, inconsistant (the barrels SUCK!!!!!) products of China - I bought one and went through 3 of them (they kept breaking down on me) before finally giving up. The performance was piss poor - the range is horrible. The wind carries the small cal paint a great deal. They wont let you use them in almost all of the worth while games. Finally - they are terribly over priced. Stick with american made products and .68 cal - and dont be swayed by the beauty of the RAM - it is a piece of crap. They should call it the CRAP 4 LOL!
