OA Mini-Scenario/Castle Day: Dec. 5th

Outdoor Adventures in Bowie, MD has decided on a theme for Dec. 5th Mini-Scenario Day (which should become a yearly event) - "Battle of the Bulge". Join the Allies to stop the last German Offensive in the West or be a recruit for the Axis to capture Antwerp and change the course of WWII in Europe.

    For more info: http://www.oapaintball.com/castle.php

Additional information will be posted on the site as we get closer to the event. We look forward to seeing you there!

    We're in...

The team that I play for, the RAMF, plans on attending the Castle Siege at OA. We'd be glad to help out, if you'll have us.

That's fantastic. We've been looking for a second team to help balance out the sides at bit at the events. More info will be posted on the OA website as we get closer - but I'll make sure to keep you in the loop as information becomes available.

Make sure th check out the Knight Stalkers Forum - we always have information there on the upcoming games. If you could, email me ([email protected]) and I'll have my team leader get in touch with you - we could even arrange a walkthrough of the field before gameday if you were interested.

Look forward to seeing you there & hearing from you soon.

Will do. I've been checking out the OA site, and trying to get an idea of the fields that we'll be playing on. Looks like a good-sized structure that you have there. AARs seem to suggest some pretty fierce fighting, due to the relatively small field size. Good idea to run a series of mini-scenarios, too, instead of one long attack-and-defend session. THAT could get old really quick.

Looking forward to playing in December. Hope to see you there.

Well, I guess the game is a full-on scenario now. No problem. We'd still like to come and play. I still haven't heard from your team leader, though. We weren't able to come to your practice on the 14th, because of a scenario this past weekend at Hogback in Leesburg. Drop us a line, and we'll get coordinated for the 5th.

Battle of the Bulge, OA Paintball 12/5/04

First, let me say that yesterday's game at OA was one of the greatest days of paintball that I, and the other members of the RAMF, have EVER had the pleasure of experiencing. The field was superb (if a little muddy), the players were dedicated to having a good time and giving their best, and the staff was incredible.

I also want to thank OA's home scenario team, the Knight Stalkers, for putting together a truly legendary game. I, and nearly every player that I witnessed on the field, had the time of our lives. I will stay glued to OA's and the 'Stalkers' site for word of the next game. Thanks to everyone on the red team for their discipline and hard-as-nails defense of the castle both times, and to the blue team for puttling up one hell of an assault.
