Help Me Build The Ultimate A5 For A Give Away Drawing At Our Upcoming Scenario Event

Were looking to put together the ultimate A5 TIPPMANN scenario marker and we need your help!! Let us know what you like. If we use your idea in putting this gun together, you will receive two passes into the event that will be giving away this marker ($80.00 value)
So, weve got the standard A5, tell us what you want on it. Response trigger, flatline barrel, car stock, twister barrel, drop forward, remote, lpr kit, double trigger, or, all of it?? What did we miss?? Tell us what other add on do we need? Remember, we want this gun to be awesome. We will be throwing on some kick a** detail features to make this a one of a kind. Were looking for accuracy and speed, the ultimate killing machine!!
Send us an e mail with your thoughts, pictures, and opinions to
[email protected]

We have also just begun our 3rd annual year end "WINTER PAINTBALL SALE". Tons of used, unclaimed items that we have found throughout the year at rediculous low prices. Some items are there on consignment, some are props used at some of our 2004 events, some are brand new items.
There are no donated sponsor items listed in this sale. Only one way to get those, attend our scenario events.
Good luck shopping and let us know about that awesome A5 idea that you may have. That A5 package will be raffled at an upcoming scenario event in early spring of 2005 in the upper midwest area (date TBA). We have a $1000.00 budget on this marker but if its worth putting more on, then screw that budget!!

Ultimate A-5

I'd like to see something different in an A-5 setup. Sure, a Flatline barrel and a car stock are cool, but what about getting away from the whole "sniper" package and going with a ripper instead?

Here's what I'd like to see:

RT
Nitrogen setup
3-5" barrel
Remote setup

This is the perfect pointman's A-5, as far as I'm concerned, and would be perfect for the door-stackers and room-clearers out there in scenario land.

I'm thinking ... also go with a ripper a-5 for the guy who likes to rush and lay some paint in a scenario...

Just my 2cents but... either origional frame and E-grip, or you throw an A-5 45 frame on there, RT, cool barrel kit, nitro setup and a sweet drop forward with on/off preferably. Shocktech front grip. Hows that sound?

put a flatline on it, e-grip, lpk, new ricochet hopper, barrel kit - maybe snapshot or JJ kit, compressed air tank, double trigger - blade if possible, and then check out some of ballisticsports.com, or ben tippmann's stuff for stock and some other scenario things, get a nice rail/asa combo, and shrink wrap the ss hose..

Small barrel (8inches or less/the smaller the better), RT, Remote, Nitro, richochet hopper, combat sling, car stock, green or camo anno job, Tac mounts for red dot or flash light.

http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/Vie...?Item=26514920
Purchase a 30 round 9x19mm MP5 magazine, and cut it so that it will fit around the bottomline, and is flush with teh body. Auction ends tomorrow.. Theres tons on gunbroker

A PDW-style size-folding stock...

Take a stock barrel of some kind and just saw it off so it only sticks out 1 or 2 inches from the body when its screwed in. Sand it down and ano/paint it to match the tippy.

Then you have a perfect MP5-PDW. Get a 30-round cap and a remote and your set.

As already stated, the "sniper" deal is a bit overdone today. It's many people's cup of tea but I think the larger crowd is more of the Urban Assault group. That would mean a more compact setup, but meant for fast firing.

With that said, E-grip is better than RT in my experience. Some RT's work very nicely but in general the split air source really doesn't do justice for the A-5's RT. 98Custom RT works ungodly better than the A-5. So Definately go with the E-grip. Double trigger optional for the person, depends if they want to be able to fire faster easier or have the still MP5 look (single trigger looks more solid to the style). E-grip goes for around $125-$150

Next would be an opsgear MP5 style Sliding stock. Folding stocks can make it slightly side heavy when not extended. Sliding stock is just more compact, and definately more practical at times. Goes for around $100.

Lapco Paintball makes some very nice accessories. Namely an 7.5" Barrel with a fake suppressor. I suggest this over the Flatline because if this is an urban assault setup marker, the Flatline does not come into play. This is all very close quarter assault, not picking people off from under the tree branches 200ft away (which is what the flatline is best suited for). This combination of 7.5" Bigshot + Fake Supressor goes for around $75

Ricochet R5 Hopper. Holds more paint, has a more forgiving front design to the hopper! No longer a giant bullseye, actually a critical part for close quarter snap shooting. Angled edges for possible bounces, or wide flat surface for almost guaranteed breaks. Definately an added bonus. Can't remember, but I think it goes for somewhere around $20

Another add-on from Lapco would be the universal ASA mount. A $15 piece but lets people mount any gas system they prefer instead, due to the stock ASA design. So be it they want a drop forward added on or they use a rail air system (Apocolypse 2K or such) they'll need this any ways. Toss this puppy on there.

East Gate has a magazine clip that will replace the foregrip, for a much better (milsim) look. http://www.eastgatedesign.com And price is fair, around $60. But instead of the tiny foregrip you have that magazine style! Definately a cosmetic bonus since the actual function is well..... looks! But that's what 1/2 of all upgrades on the market are for afterall. yay.

Palmer Stabilizer. One of the most durable, reliable, and consistent regulators on the market. And with consistency in the air system is where consistency at the chronograph is bestly taken care of. Plus it's not too flashy, fits the style of the A-5 bester. $100.

So in total that's...

E-grip......................$125
Sliding Stock............$100
Barrel/Supressor.......$75
R5 Hopper...............$20
Universal ASA...........$15
E.G. Mag..................$60
Palmer Stab.............$100
__________________________+
Grand Total.............$495

If wanted to even, convince Tippmann to donate another A-5 and you can get two setups just like this within your budget. Definately be a nice treat for the raffle. Imagine the crowd going "awwwww damn" after the first one's raffled off..... and you announce that ANOTHER is now going to be raffled off! "Yaaaaaaaaaay" and "Woooot" and "Aggzorz" will be shouted by all. And elves will eat milk and cookies. There will be midgets dancing and music everywhere! Dance little people, Dance!

I would personally suggest getting 3 ten inch barrels in different bore sizes (staying the same throughout the barrel, none of that small to large stuff). Preferable small, medium, and large. That way you have a consistent bore and at least 8 inches for it to be effective. CP is one of my favorites. Other than that I think Meph is doing an awesome job.

Well, I think ill stick wit hthe A5 for now. Im not really big on scopes myself. They look cool but kind of useless on a paintball gun. (Especially a $200.00 one) Keep the ideas comin though, im writing them all down.

i personally like this version of it

add a response trigger to that, and you have one bad beast. Let me know what you think, it's modeled off of an G36C rifle, looks almost like the real thing, I can also do a grenade launcher, and the ricochet loader, or the micro cap which is pictured.

this one is sweet too

NOW THATS FREAKIN AWESOME!!!

One question, how much does that thing weigh? Looks like you need a dolly to wheel that sucker around.
Whats the price on the whole package?? I know what those launchers go for.
Let me know if your interested in building me one.
