I didn't see it but, come on...It's not like Crossfire sends out reporters to cover these events. What happens is someone writes in requesting to do an article. Then they send it to Crossfire, they proofread it for errors (spelling grammatical so forth) and then they run it. There is no research involved, all Crossfire is doing is trying to help the scenario community NOT hurt any players, owners, superstars The articles are based on one person's opinion of the event. If this guy was there maybe he should write up something and submit it on behalf of all those left behind. I know that even in my writing's sometimes I will forget to mention the "important people" but a lot of times those people are the most understanding because they have been in the same situation. The people who submit stories are just regular players like you and I so next time time instead of flaming perhaps this gentlemen should be part of the solution instead of just pointing out the problem.

I know that sometimes a magazine might seem to be like a big money maker but in reality I "think" they struggle just like most of us do from paycheck to paycheck. That's perhaps why Crossfire is now no longer a separate magazine but has been integrated into PB2X and will just be a section of it because they just didn't have enough contributors. Meaning there are just not enough of us scenario players offering up articles for them to print.
I've got some stuff coming out soon, and to some people it may seem one-sided. I know you can't make all the people happy all of the time.

Eric, I hope you do write some pieces and submit them. I would like to read them

Anyways, Humanity is common, being imperfect is human-nature, and wanting what you love to sound better than everyone and anything else no matter what the cost is just plain "manly". LOL!

Hope you have better luck with your reading material in the future

Well, since Crossfire is joining forces with PB2X (Crossfire is now a section of PB2X, not a stand alone mag), maybe the reporting will be more even. But yes, I have noticed the reporting tended to be a bit one-sided...but then again, if I had to decide between playing and reporting one side and not playing and hit up both sides, I'd go with the playing one

I would rather play as well, but we need the coverage. i was in a paintball store the other day and the guy asked where i had been, i said i had been playing scenario ball and was sponsored by Stagety Plus, i let him know that he need to sell more scenario stuff in his store and he said he would when the sport got big enough. i laughed and walked out.
we need the coverage but it has to be good coverage as well. the photo person they used for the article in that issue had hundreds of shots to use but what they decided to use was foolish. i cant explain it. it seemed rushed.

and i was wrong, they didnt use the same photo twice, they used it THREE TIMES, thats just cheap! look at it see for your self! be the judge people!

            Eric with two more cents!
