? for ppl who shoot RT's

Got a quick question for those of you who shoot the new RT Pro and big game / scenarios.

Me and my Brother are getting the new RT Pros w/ lvl-X & X valve and we are having air questions on what the shot to tank ratio is... We carry over 900 rounds onto the field and we are wondering with the air ratio as bad as we hear, what size tank would we need?

It's been said that a 68/45 will get around 900 shots, but we are carring over (sometimes more) that amount and want to run out of paint first - is the effichcy (spelling, this is why I use ratio) that bad? and are we needing a 72/45 or 88/45 at minimum?

I use the same rig. A lot will depend on the barrel efficiency. After realizing that the heavily ported barrels were draining my tank I switched to the Lapco Bigshot. I use an 88...It's a tad big but I'm used to it. A sling is nice for scenarios. Another thing to remember is turn your tank off when not using it. The level ten will slowly leak down the barrel if you don't. I usually carry 1000 rnds and can shoot it just fine with one fill. I'm betting you could use a 68 with the Lapco.

68/4500 flatline tank can shoot a hopper and 5 pods before it needs to be filled. you could prolly squeeze out another 100 if need be. on a 88/4500 preset i got a hopper and about 9 pods...

same here, thats it here for my Mech Mag. 88/4500 is the way to go for the big games and have the 68/4500 for back and a lender for freinds.

They're not in production anymore. You have to get it used, check ebay & the b/s/t forums here.

Definately extra lube. I keep two bottles at all times. Can't leave home w/o your lubricant.

Just like to say that the level 10 will not leak if properly setup. I know mine doesn't.

I honestly would not worry about it, I have this feeling that if you are playing a scenario game you will have a break, or get out before you run out of air.

You'll probably be taken out before you run out of paint, so i really wouldn't worry about it. Most of the time scenarios will provide free air since they cant keep track of who is doing what. Just take full advantage of that.

I run a similar setup. RT Custom with a 68/45 @ 900psi give or take. Lasts me a good long while.

Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

Thats what I thought as well, but there are times where I go a long stretch with out getting out and that is why I'm asking. most of the time I get out before any thing runs out, but I had it happen not to long ago where I was in a perfict spot and one of a few left to hold the fort and I ran out of air, and did that many of times (48/30 on A-5 that day) so it's just one of those things.

I'm am looking at the Dye 71/45- dose anyone know any thng about them?

Yes, I highly suggest you avoid dye tanks like they carry plague. Crossfire is a much better tank for less $. Somebody (warpig, or haveblue) did a test on preset tanks and dye was at the bottum. Crossfire was at the top. Try searching over on the guild forum.

He is correct, don't use a Dye Tank with a mag. In my experiences, It will starve the gun.
