This is going to be an awesome event, the name it's self is a huge hint....... Yes, the game is based off the Allied landing at Normandy "BUT" since the outcome was already decided back in'44 what if some of the stragities were changed....??? What if the Allieds made a big landing at Calais instead? What if it was a huge Airborne assult instead? What if Germans had worked out a deal with the French Resistance?? The Commanders for each side have been picked and are making their plans as I speak. They do not have to follow historical events, they are free to use their troops as they see fit. They'll be Tanks prowling the roads trying to take out as many ground pounders as possible. The Anti-tank squads with their bazookas will be trying to stop them. German Anti-Aircraft guns will attempt to take out any Allied plans loaded with airborne troops before they reach their 'DZ'. And once the Allied are in the French countryside will they find a friendly or hostile French Resistance??
This isn't just a big us against them centerflag game, there's gunna be a lot of thinking involved. There will be some established objectives but there will also be random missions radio'd into each sides HQ's.
This will be a limited player event (only 400) so register now to gaurantee your slot.
