Hey, AO,
I belong to a small scenario team that has always been kept to 4 core players. I have recently been contacted by one member of another local scenario team, looking to join our ranks.
I'll leave names and affiliations out of it, but how can I deal with this prospective member?
In our last game, he carried some pretty good hardware, and this guy always seemed to be pushing our flanks. A great player, and a sure asset to my team.
Should he be trusted to play against his former team with the same vigor that he has used against us in the past? If he'll leave his current team, can I count on him not to do the same to me? Does it even matter?
I'll admit that my first priority is to not enflame my local paintball community by "poaching" another team's talent.
I'd like to hear from outsiders to this affair. Thanks.

) - but I'd definitely try to keep everything on the table as to smooth any transitions. As far as the player goes, I would hope that he would play just as hard with your team as he has with his original team. Its completely up to you & your feelings as to whether or not he'd be a good fit with your group. Remember, he'll be your asset/problem in the future.
