    OES IV registration procedures

All players will check in at the registration counter. There, preregistered players will recieve their player packets which will include the following:

Hopper cover (except for RIPs who will recieve theirs at the ref briefing)
    Paint tickets (if applicable)
    ID tag
    Special role information (if applicable)
Tanker rules and tank route maps(if applicable)
    Lanyard

Field maps, summaries of the field rules, itineraries, video order forms, and The Fire Fall Objective: Chapter III Flyers will be available at the registration counter as well as the concessions counter.

All pre-registered players who have not paid for paint or BYOP in advance will be required to purchase their paint at the registration counter before they can recieve their packets.

After players have registered, they may then have their CO2 or HPA tanks filled at the fill station where they will have to present their ID tag as proof of registration.

At the chrono station, players will again have to present their ID tags to have it punched showing that they have chronoed in under the posted limit. Once done , they will also recieve a marking on their hopper.

At the field entrances, players will, again, have to present their ID tags to the staff member at the field entrances in order to determine that the play has registered and has chronoed in before entering the field prior to game start.

At any time, a staff member, referee, or RIP, (Referee-In-Play) may ask for a player to present their ID tag for inspection.

    Hi,
Had to wait until the last minute to make sure my brother was going to be able to make it.
You should be getting registration, waiver and payment on 3 for team Bersrkers post dated the 18th. We prepaid for Allstar paint.
    Questions:
Do the teams camp in the same area? Also, How far is it to hoof from parking to camping? We'll be bringing My Landcruiser, so terrain isn't a big deal It'd be great to be able to park the beast next to our site.
My brother is hearing impaired and reads lips. Needless to say, this is impossible on the field. Do you mind if I introduce him to the refs at some point so they can kind of keep an eye out. I don't want a ref getting mad if they holler at him to stop so they can check him and he just keeps chugging away not knowing any better. He's a smart guy, but he's only played twice.
Have you had anyone register a tank? I've been tinkering with different styles of air cannon and am building a small LAW for our team. I'll make sure you o.k. it first.
Also, what is your opinion on stationary mortars that shoot soluable paint water balloons indirectly? If you allow the balloon, how would it play into bunker eliminations?
    Can't wait to get there

The same campground, yes. The team generals have reserved campsites which also serve as their "off-field command posts" and many chose to camp as close to their generals spot as is possible when they arrive. There is plenty of area. How far you are from the facilities depends on how early you get in to set up camp, really. It shouldn't be too bad for anyone though.

Sure, if you want, bring him to the ref briefing, which will be immediately after the player briefing, and we will introduce him and explain the situation to them.

We don't really require tankers to register their tanks. We just ask for a heads up so we know they may be coming. I believe we have 4 or 5 coming at this point.

Ballon type loads must be 2 ounces or less. Hand thrown grenade rules apply. Any amount of paint from a grenade on a player counts as an elimination.

If you have any other questions, just holler!

        Thanks,
Ya know, I am really looking forward to this event. I appreciate your timely and personal responses. It speaks volumes.
We signed up Contra, but it really doesn't make much of a difference to us.
I've been running restaurants and Minit Mart Super stores for over a decade and playing ball since 92. If you need someone in a take charge position on either side, I'm pretty good at corraling and pumping up the teens. I don't mind being a mindless grunt, held the position more than you know, but somehow I always end up leading a flanking charge with twenty guys I've never met.....sometimes with success.
I'm working on making sure we are down there Friday morning.
        Thanks
        Tim

Good deal, we can get your registration done and you will have plenty of time to walk the field.
